TSUKARETAAAAAA... =.=
This past week has just been tough on me. So sick and tired of work. I'm nauseated. Complete story in LJ. I thought I could vent out here but nah, I'm too tired to do that.
By the way, the training to Singapore is on schedule! I leave on Monday, November 29th, and will be there for three days. If any of you happen to be in Singapore or live in Singapore (you know who you are ;) hehe...) and have time to spare, visit Kino in Takashimaya because that's where I'll be for the whole three days. Yeah, working. TRAINING. I'm scared. LOL. Really, I am. I don't know what to expect. Well, let's hope for the best.
I've always wanted to show this new sweater of mine. Noticed the motive on the sweater? That seems to be the 'in' thing right now (I saw the report on this fashion trend in Teen Vogue :P) and I'm soooo glad I've been a fan of this type of thing since a long time ago. When I insisted to my dad that he must find for me a sweater vest with that kind of motive, he was like, "What? Isn't that overly preppy for you?" I said, "NOOOO!!! BUY IT FOR ME!!! EVEN IF IT'S PREPPY JUST BUY THE DAMN THING FOR ME!!!" So he did. I fell in love at first sight with this apple green one from NEXT. I think I've written about it in one of my previous entries. I wanted it so badly that I couldn't sleep and just had to buy it. LOL. I don't feel sorry for spending so much money on it. I wrote it today to work, so it's all wrinkled now. I have to get it ironed. And everybody said I looked fresh and 'genki' in it. :D
Yay! These were the books I ordered. The Daa! Daa! Daa! ones arrived yesterday. And I've been reserving the Chobits Postcard Book and the Card Captor Sakura Illustration Books since a few weeks ago. I actually feel kind of bad for a customer. I heard someone was looking for the postcard book after I had put it under staff reservation. The staff who handled the customer didn't know we had any because I took the only copy left so he said to the customer that we didn't have it at all... never had it. Obviously, that was the wrong answer. I clarified it with him and everything turned out to be OK. The customer wasn't that insistent anyway but still I feel kind of bad for hogging the book. ^^;; Oh, and, seriously, I feel bad for so many customers... some people have been e-mailing us to ask about the CCS illustrations. Up until recently, I always answered that they were out of stock while in fact... WE HAD SOME THAT ARE THE CHINESE VERSIONS! Argh. I feel so bad for the misinformation. I did e-mail some of them back saying that we have it in Chinese and some did order that from us, but some still preferred the original Japanese publications. (Noooo, the Japanese version is sooooo expensive! >.<) Anyway.
When in Singapore, I'm definitely going to try and find those books in my wishlist, plus those CDs I've always wanted. So I'm probably just going to be hanging around in HMV after training is over. LOL. So predictable.
*yawn* Gosh, I can barely lift a finger anymore. I better go before I fall asleep in front of the computer again. I miss my bed. And I want to read my POPOLO. >.< (Last night I slept on my new Popolo, issue 1/2005. One of the pages is badly folded. XD Sorry~) I have to make plans to watch TAXI this weekend. Argh, never mind. Sleep first, think later!!!
23 NOVEMBER 2004 ♥ 8:40
As usual, I'm blogging before I start working. XD
Lookie, my new San-X stationery. There are so many cute ones being sold on the stationery section. I really can't help getting one. As a matter of fact, I ended up getting two of 'em. Kyoooote, aren't they? ^-^ My mom loves the yellow one, because it's yellow. My sis loves the red one, because there are "nyanko", kitties, all over. I love both of them. Maybe I'll splurge again and buy some more of these. Oh and if you think my desk is spacious that's because the Logistics department just 'stole' my printer. @_@ Their super hi-tech laser printer ran out of toner and now they don't have anything to print with. So they used my 'medieval' printer to print GRNs and whatnot. Hah. And who was it that bragged about having a state-of-the-art printer? *raise eyebrow* Now look what they've got. Two so-called state-of-the-art printers that don't work. TWO. DON'T WORK. Dysfunctional. Technology = eternal disappointment. And while we're at it, you get what you deserve for dissing MY printer. Hmph.
I don't think i want to work today. I just want to bum around and be lazy and the hell with all the others. Sounds like a good plan to pass the day and still getting paid for showing up at work, huh? Life can be good when you relax.
22 NOVEMBER 2004 ♥ 21:00
I still can't breathe! @_@ Things have been so hectic in the office! I can't believe that I survived through the day. I felt like dying just then in the office. I hate hate hate hate hate hate working. ^^;;; I want to sleep!
The schedule for training in Singapore has been released by SIMS. So I'm going there for three days next week. The preparations are so not done yet. This whole thing makes me feel nervous. I feel like resigning from this training. Imagine, HANDS-ON STORE OP TRAINING!!! >.< Gag. And according to SIMS, their customers are not much better than ours. I mean, some are even worse. OK, now I really feel like dying just thinking about it. The only thing that makes me feel comforted is the fact that I'm going to go to SG, will definitely buy a lot of things in HMV and can probably meet my friends again. I need to do some e-mailing. Fang, Momo, Jamie, Sakura, Aki... let's meet up! Even just for half an hour! ^^;;; Hahaha.
Speaking of work today, my boss let me use a Tomoyo wallpaper on the computer at the office. XD Hahaha. I was going all squealy on a Tomoyo wp and then I asked him, "Sir, can I use this wallpaper?" And he said, "Sure, go ahead!" So I put it on right away. A few minutes later, Ms. Rozana the SO manager came to my boss' computer to show me something and saw the wallpaper. She gasped and said, "What have you done to Mr. PT's computer?!" LOL! Then we both joked about what would happen if Mr. AT or Mr. VPS came to the office and asked to borrow my boss' computer. They'd find Tomoyo and they'd faint seeing her on Kino's CH's computer! XD Bwahahaha... But Tomoyo is too cute. I think it's official that she's my favorite female CLAMP character.
Then again there's Chii. And Sakura. And Hikaru. @_@ Argh. Never mind.
Listening to Janne Da Arc's new songs, SHOUNEN NO HITOMI and LOVE IS HERE. They are wonderful. Switching to Bennie K right now. Hmm. I don't know about them. I think they're OK, but they're not all that. I downloaded a whole bunch of other songs yesterday. Some w-inds and ... KAT-TUN's I LIKE IT.
Speaking of KAT-TUN, if ever they release an album, the following songs must be in it:
1. Love or Like
2. Fight All Night
3. Destiny
4. Le Ciel
5. Never Again
6. I Like It
And I also nominate Heartbreak Club, Harukana Yakusoku and No Matter, Matter. OK, I also want Original Blue. And Hanasanaide Ai (although it's supposedly Kame's solo, the rest of the members sing too... so what difference does it make?! XD) Fcuk. Just put all of them in the album! >.< And throw in some new songs as well. That'll be the ultimate album. :3
I suddenly feel the urge to draw Junnosuke Taguchi. *itches* But I have no talent whatsoever for drawing. Urgh. So. I can only wish.
My eyes are drooping. I'll go watch PRINCESS DIARIES 2: ROYAL ENGAGEMENT now and then go bed. I don't think I can survive tomorrow. I want another breather!!!
21 NOVEMBER 2004 ♥ 17:25
Sometimes it's nice to do things without planning. Like today, for example, I went to Plaza Indonesia without planning it. I called up Fre and asked her to come along with me. Unfortunately she couldn't make it but I was already so determined to go there so I went alone. I got there, and got some interesting things to add to my book and magazine collection and even met an ex-high school friend! It turned out to be a good idea to go PI today. So the point is, sometimes things work better unplanned. I should do this more often.
I've had a rather subdued weekend. After coming back to work on Friday, which was an exhausting and grueling day full of crazy customers in the store, I am glad for the quietness in my weekend. But of course it didn't just go buy unevenfully!
Yesterday, Fi came to my place. We'd plan this visit for the longest time and we hadn't been able to make it until yesterday. We wanted to watch some VCDs and videos, and take a look over certain magazines together. We started off listening to some mp3s (she hadn't listened to any new J-pop songs for the longest time so I introduced to her Ryohei Yamamoto, Nobody Knows, Orange Range, etc) while looking at magazines such as Anan and Junon. Afterwards he had ice cream and chocolate cheese cake and started watching the SMAP X SMAP VCDs (2003 episodes) that she brought over.
SMAP X SMAP is hilarious!!! I finally got to watch some more of THE KATRIX (parody of THE MATRIX, naturally). I didn't realize before that the KATRIX was written as KATORIKKUSU in katakana. That explains why it's Shingo becomes Nyao (Neo). XD His name is Katori Shingo. :P Right. LOL.
And the parody of KAMEN RIDER, which is KAMEN RENAIDAA (REN-AI-DER), was... UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Oh my freak! They are so silly!!! *dies laughing* How can they be kamen rider when they don't even wear a kamen (mask) to cover their faces?! XD And the fact that the riders' names are REKI (Ryuuki?! XD) and AITO (Agito?! XD) make it even sillier. But the boy in the skit yesterday was a total babe. As in, HE'S SUPER DUPER CUTE!!! *huggles* I want to have a son like him! :3
Oh and Nakai's monomane of Aya Matsuura, MAYAYA, is also funny. XD Tsuyoshi's face when Mayaya tried to touch him with the towel and when he pushed Mayaya through the wall and into the onsen pool was... HILARIOUSLY DEADPAN! XD *hyperventilates*
Don't get me started with the whole Beckyamu parody! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!! THAT IS EVEN MORE HILARIOUS THAN THE OTHER SKITS, BECAUSE HE USED THE DANDY "GETS" PUN!!! XD OMIFRIKKINGOD! If it gets any funnier than that I'm going to die due to excessive laughing. Ahahahahahaha... XD
SMAP = SAIKOU!
Fi-chan also lent me Boku to Anata no Ikirumichi, which is the sequel to Tsuyoshi's Boku no Ikirumichi. *hearts* Thanks, Fi-chan! ^-^
It's great watching the show with Fi-chan. We laughed uncontrollably. So it was a great afternoon with Fi-chan. ^-^ Mwah!
The fun doesn't stop there. In the evening, two of my favorite shows were aired! One on NHK and one on CNN. ;)
First, SHOKURA! Let me tell you, it was yet again a MAJOR NOSEBLEED FEST DUE TO EXCESSIVE JUNNOSUKE TAGUCHI-NESS! Ahh, he's appearing more and more in the Talk part. Beautiful, beautiful... and...
GUEST STAR WAS TSUBASA!!! He sang Queen of R, surprisingly without Takki, although Takki did appear on camera to talk about Tsubasa's tsumetai attitude and kechi-ness (LOL) for a while. Well, that song does sound like a Tsubasa solo since the beginning anyway. ^^;;; But anyway, I'm telling you, Queen of R is the funkiest of all TxT songs! And Tsubasa was oh so terribly SEXY singing and dancing to it. I'm so happy to see him there. Btw, I really loooooove seeing Tsubasa shake his head in denial when Takki talks about Tsubasa being tsumetai and kechi. LOL! XD He's so cute, like a little boy! And he was whining, "This show is broadcast not only in Japan, right? You're ruining my image! Now I'm going to known as cold and stingy by people all around the world! Is that it, huh?" Awwww, soooooo cute! *hearts*
KAT-TUN has a new song called I LIKE IT. It's damn cool. Yet another R&B song penned by a Nordic songwriter and SPIN. I love the dance. So smooth. KAT-TUN has the best songs around! RELEASE A CD ALREADY! And Junno was so friggin' sexxxxxxy. I am so in love with him. I am not lovesick anymore. I'm just happy Junno exists, and he's alive, and he's healthy, so I can see him even though only on the television and may never meet him in real life at all. His voice is good. I am happy for his vocal improvement. Plus, he and Jin should get married because they both look compatible. I love seeing Jin too. And Maru. And Ueda. And Kouki. And Kame. Oh and thankfully they didn't slaughter Kinki Kids' SOLITUDE ~HONTOU NO SAYONARA~. They nailed the song, if I may say so. At least, this one is much better than ANDALUSIA. ^^ But, ahhhh, the song of the night was I LIKE IT.
Fumito Kawai remains KAWAII. <3 And there are two young Juniors whom I notice look like Takki and Tsuba. I don't know their names but this one looks like Tsubasa when he was young and then there's this otehr who looks like Takki when he's young. I don't usually give a damn anymore about these Juniors because I'm so out of track in knowing who they are, what their names are and how they look like. But these two caught my eyes instantly because of their eerie resemblance to young Takki and young Tsuba. I have to research.
Good show, as usual.
Next was THE DAILY SHOW: GLOBAL EDITION! I saw The Colbert Report. *dies* Stephen Colbert is the ultimate bane for my sanity. Ever since I started liking him I find myself becoming more and more ass-y, just like he is, and annoy the hell out of my friends. LOL. But, Jon Stewart is gorgeous. I fell in love with him right at that moment where he impersonated Condoleeza Rice's "stink eyes". He's beautiful. <3 And Rob Corddry is a frigging ass, too, so everything's perfect. XD I will never be able to hear "circulation" normally ever again without thinking of his graphic explanation of the... erm... well. XD LOL. I'm goign to have to watch it again tonight because I was only half listening to the interview with Tom Brokaw. Mwah.
*yawn* I'm sleepy now. I think I'm going to eat some more of that chocolate cheese cake and watch Harry Potter. Then I'm going to return to this computer and see if I can scan something. *looks at the scanner* Hmmm... *shudder*.
19 NOVEMBER 2004 ♥ 00:40
I'm supposed to be sleeping right now because tomorrow later today I have to go to work after a week long holiday. Not that I'm not anticipating it. I sort of miss Kino. Well, the bookstore anyway. :P So, I'll just write something really short to sum up my day yesterday and see if I can get over my frustration over the new shoutbox.
Basically, I woke up and did nothing but bum around, holiday-style as usual. This time, the bumming around included writing my fictions, listening to some mp3s, downloading some mp3s and watching tons of anime.
Nope, still no scanning and no layout. I have a pretty good idea what I want for my next layout but I just can't make it work in Photoshop. I think it's because deep down I still don't want to let go of this pink layout. And need I tell you how I still hate the scanner? ^^;;; Let's skip that part, OK?
Fics... OK, I'm going nowhere with Holiday_KYOTO, but a lot of progress with Holiday_ROME and Holiday_EXAM. I also wrote another Touya/Tomoyo fic. Hohoho. ^o^ What a lovely couple.
Songs downloaded today are from Takui and from Merry. Gee, I must really be interested in Merry. I'm downloading every single file of it that I come across in mp3 rotation sites. (Yay for MP3 rotations! Thank you, oh kind people with many music resources! ;___; Thou art most kind!) I haven't heard any of them, though, because then I got distracted by babe giving me a link to downloading slash-implied skits from the TDS, which is absolutely hilarious. STEWART/COLBERT ROCKS!!! HELMS AND CORDDRY ROCK TOO!!! TDS IS THE BEST! So yeah, I've been drooling all over those men. LOL.
Anime... anime... Tantei Gakuen Q (whoa, BL-hint between Kyu and Ryuu -- how cute) and... Yami no Matsuei. I actually got through six episodes of YnM without getting my eyes hurt. The recording is baaaaaad. I don't know how come it became so bad. As I recall, the recording was successful. Anyway. :3 Gosh, Tsuzuki x Hisoka is just *hearts*. Love 'em! I love the last arc, the KYOTO one. My favorite part was when they visited that school and posed as four brothers who became teachers and transfer student to protect this girl from the evil Muraki. And lots of hugging between Tsuzuki and Hisoka. Oh yeah, that was... lovely. ^-^ I loooooooove YnM. Why the hell is it not continue anymore? Damn. Ehhh, now I also want to make a YnM layout. *dance*
OK, some songs I wanted to talk about.
Hayami Kishimoto - [YUME REAL] I got to know Kishimoto from Tantei Gakuen Q (she sang an OP and an ED song). Her voice is so-so, nothing special. I liked the songs she sang for TGQ but my ultimate favorite is this one, YUME REAL. It's a bubblegum pop song (OK, not the Momusu style but still very pop-y) and it just catches on your ears. At some point I'm reminded of Tamaki Nami, but Kishimoto is much nicer to listen to and much nicer to look at. LOL.
Mika Nakashima - [SARA] I used to consider myself a fan of Nakashima. That is, until her songs became so repetitive and she starts singing like she's on drugs or something. Needless to say I got bored of her and felt hopeless that she could do anything truly beautiful. Then I heard this song and... WOW. I regained my admiration for her. Finally! A song where she doesn't sound like she's about to cry because someone is probably trying to strangle her and a song that actually has beat and melody. It's very Latin-y and I'd say it's one of the best Latin-y J-pop songs I've ever heard. It's up there with [ANDALUSIA NI AKOGARETE]. Beautiful. Well done, Nakashima.
Tsukiko Amano - [IDEA] Wah, another cool song from Amano. I am definitely going to check her out. I need to find her albums. I like her music, and she's got a nice voice to listen to. One can say she's a rocker, yeah, no doubt about it but I'd say that she's still pop to me. Pop with an edge, I think. I like [IDEA] a lot and it's become a non-stop hit on my playlist. The intro is misleading, because I thought it was going to be a ballad, but it makes the song different and unique.
Takako Uehara - [GALAXY LEGEND] Great song, bad voice. ^^;;; I'm confused with Uehara. She used to not be able to sing at all but then when SPEED released BRIDGE her voice improved and she did well in singing the odd notes to back-up Hiro. Some of her solo songs are dodgy, both musically and vocally, but there are those that really sound great. This song is... FANTASTIC, if you listen to the melody and let someone like Sowelu sing it. :P But Uehara's voice is all over the place and rampant. I don't know. I'm having mixed feelings about it. But if there's a good point from this song is that it sounds much better than hiro's latest.
Namie Amuro - [GIRL TALK] Actually I'm bored with this type of song from Amuro. Even the dance is overly typical of hers. Come up with something new, dammit. But I still find myself listening to it daily. LOL. (What is wrong with me?) It's kind of catchy but I'm waiting for a new sound from Amuro. Please, come up with something new soon. *sigh* Although, I find her vocals tolerable here. ;)
Whew! Seems like lately I've been listening to more and more female artists. I don't know what's gotten into me. I'm of the belief that males sing better than females, especially in J-pop. But it's never a bad thing to explore more about a particular subject and so I'm doing this to find out more about one of my favorite genres of music. Hope I can find more songs by other female artists to listen to!
It's bedtime now. I'll try to rest and not think about the Shoutbox. *sigh*
18 NOVEMBER 2004 ♥ 12:28
I am frustrated with my tagboard. =__= Fine, not using it. Grrrrrh. Well, let's wait until TB.com works again. Geez.
[EDIT 14:03]
Yay, I'm using Shoutmix Shout Box. It's... blahness to customize but it'll do for now. TB, hurry up and come back you idiot!
[/EDIT]
16 NOVEMBER 2004 ♥ 21:15
I mean, what sort of person posts a picture of her dinner on her blog? I am such a freaking dork. XD
Yep, I made that dinner all by myself. Spaghetti with white cream, which I am so sure is NOT Italian. So much for being an Italiana-wannabe.
The point of this post is to talk about my boring day. It's a lazy day today. I ate chocolate cake. I ate pizza (courtesy of my grandmother). I ate ... what else did I eat today? Oh, never mind. I'm eating ice cream right now. And I am supposed to be scanning Junno/Daigo right now because otherwise it would render my magazines completely futile. But I tried to look at the scanner and I felt a strong urge to gag. Isn't it funny how I can be so affected by a scanner? Yes, allow me to repeat what a said above. I am a big dork.
Reading Yami no Matsuei fanfics all day long doesn't cure my dorkiness either. XD
Oh yeah, Tom Hanks is in final negotations to portray Robert Langdon in the film version of THE DA VINCI CODE. Hanks is one of my favorite actors and I guess I'd get used to of the idea of him going to play as Langdon. He is a much better choice than Russell Crowe (please help me God if ever he plays anyone from Dan Brown's books) and I look forward to the film. Having said all that I just wish Fujitaka Kinomoto (Sakura's dad in CCS and Syaoran's dad in TRC) were a real person because he would definitely be the perfect Langdon. Hahahaha...
Ah, this is usually the kind of stuff I write in LJ just so I could save people from my ultimate pointlessness but I guess right now I'm depressed enough that I don't mind showing my dorkiness in front of other people. It's not like people come here anyway! Hahahahahahahaha... (does anyone else in this world still blog like I do? Like with layouts and things like that? ^^;;;; I doubt, I doubt...) Well, before anyone feels the need to strangle me for this extra stupid post, I'll get out of here and just, erhm, stare at Junno/Daigo for a little bit longer before I go to bed.
16 NOVEMBER 2004 ♥ 18:15
Holiday is greeeeeeeeat!
So, the account of the past two days!
11/14/2004. We prayed at the mosque at seven in the morning (Mom woke me up much earlier that day @_@). We went to celebrate at my aunt's place. As usual, first day it's Mom's family's turn. Actually the only great thing about it was the food. We enjoyed the food and we ate a lot (bleurgh; no wonder I was bloated) and did little fun. None of our cousins were there even! My aunt's sons, Indra, Aria and Diaz are all living abroad. In fact, Indra and Aria are in Singapore with their wives (I envy them sooooo much) and Diaz is in Melbourne. The ones from Bandung... well, Agung is in Japan (grrrrrhhh, I can never stop envying him either) and Wulan didn't come to Jakarta from Bandung. We've long ago lost contact with all the other cousins so there were only my sister, me and the twerp (my cousin from my uncle's second wife) and the twerp's cute little sis. So, my sis and I just stayed in front of the TV all day long, watched BBC News and Britney Spears on MTV.
We came back home at around 3 and then I napped for about two hours and then read comics. In the evening, we ordered McDonalds (because by then we were sick of the traditional food) and I watched X2 (Cyclops, marry me!!!)
As you can see, it was as uneventful as it could get and I even had a row with one of my friends, who pointed out that, basically, I'm a self conceited bitch. So, the day was a total bummer. The less said about this day the better. I'm getting a rash just by typing this one.
11/15/2004. Today started crappy as well. From being woken up at five thirty in the morning to pay a visit to my grandparents' (Dad's side) graveyard (not that I don't love my grandparents but the ungodly hour that I was woken up at, it was just too much) to dealing with paranoid parents who were so afraid that we'd be late to arrive at my other grandfather's (Mom's side)graveyard. When we got to the second cemetery, there was a bit of surprise. Wulan was there! She'd just arrived from Bandung this morning! So glad to see her. We wanted to hang out with her but it turned out that she was going back on the same day so there was no chance for that all. Ergh. Anyway, my grandmother and other aunts and uncles came late so I was terribly pissed at everyone. I feel sorry for my grandfather - I really love him - that I have to be angry at the world when we're visiting his grave but really, relatives from my mom's side are annoying. Period.
Anyway, I managed to take some pictures while waiting for those slow people to arrive:
I love plumeria. They're one of my favorite flowers, for sentimental reasons. When I was young, I used to collect them whenever we visit the cemetery to pray at my grandfather's grave. I forced my cousin Diaz and Tia to collect with me because I insisted that my grandfather would want to have them on the bed of flowers we put on his grave. There are countless of childhood pictures of me, be it alone or with one of the cousins, holding plumerias next to my grandfather's grave. Up until now I always feel that I need to collect them to put on my grandfather's grave. This year I couldn't do any of that but I took these pictures so I would be reminded to do so next year. ^-^
The Idul Fitri celebration was definitely better on this day than the day before because it's time to get together with my father's family. I love my aunts and uncles from my Dad's side because they're all fun and they're a good team. All of my cousins were there. Even Nari who just came back from the Netherlands! I didn't speak much with her. In fact, I didn't speak much at all because of the heat. Damn this tropical country. Can't we all move to Sweden together?! Anyway. :P So yeah, we ate lunch, we had a bit of joke and then we were given some cookies (yum) by my grandaunt. Then we head back home to my place because us girls - my cousins, my sister and I - were going to watch THE INCREDIBLES at Town Square and we made a pit stop at my house.
Apparently, while we went to Town Square to watch the film, my dad and his brothers visited our other family house in a nearby area with the boy cousins while my mom and my aunts stayed home and gossiped. So, this is why I love my Dad's family. No ego, no bossiness... we're a family!
THE INCREDIBLES is such a fun film! We had a great time watching it. One of my cousins had already watched it and she said she preferred FINDING NEMO. My sis was a little bit influenced by that because she loved Finding Nemo and she put down her expectations for THE INCREDIBLES but I didn't watch Finding Nemo at all so I was completely amazed by the film. Granted the visuals weren't as amazing as I thought it would be but the dialogues and the plot are amazing. I am loving Edna and my favorite line was something that Frozone said... "give me my suit, woman"... or something like that. We all loved that part. I was going to pick Jack-Jack as my favorite Incredible, but then I love seeing Dash runs (he looks like a mad chicken when he runs) and Violet's powers are amazing so I decided that the whole family is cute and funny so I love all of them. I also like the songs. :D Yeah.
After the film, we had Italian pizza and pasta and although the evening was tainted by the stupidity of the restaurant's waiters and supervisor (seriously, it's a pity how such a wonderful restaurant could have such daft waiters), we were able to have a lot of laugh. We talked about being a committee for Independence Day Festival and inviting all our relatives for the festival. I told them that it would be kind of hard because some of our distant relatives speak better Javanese than Indonesian. My cousin suggested we all learn Javanese so we could communicate with them better. LOL. And so we resolved that for Idul Fitri next year we're going to speak Javanese with each other. ^_^
Fun day, yesterday, although it started badly. I don't think I want to have Idul Fitri every other month. Once a year is good enough for me. The part about it being a religious celebration is OK, but the hassles about family and all tha stuff that come with are... better avoided.
By the way, THANKS SO MUCH FOR EVERYONE WHO SENT ME SMS-ES SAYING HAPPY IDUL FITRI! Everyone. From my online friends, to my colleagues, to... everyone else! Seriously, thank you. I'm sorry I couldn't reply back to all of you by SMS or phone or e-mail... but I'll let you know how happy I receive all the greetings. :) Will never forget them and will always cherish them!
'Til next year's Idul Fitri!
