HAPPY IDUL FITRI 1425 H!
Happy Eid for Moslems all around the world. ^_^ Today is the day to celebrate!
I apologize once again for all of my mistakes that I've done to everyone all these times. No harm intended. Let's start anew with a pure heart. :)
13 NOVEMBER 2004 ♥ 23:04
I just updated my fanlistings:
UEDA FL has more than 100 members!!!
I'm so happy. ^_^
Another reason why I am happy today: LAST DAY OF RAMADHAN!
That means, tomorrow is Idul Fitri! CELEBRATION!!!
And yet another one: today I went to Kino and guess what happened? THEY GAVE ME SOME STUFF FOR FREE!!! I got Naohito Fujiki's 2004 calendar and several Chobits posters, as well as Chobits mouse-pad and vol. 08 comic book! All for free!!! That calendar is old, yes, but still... original price was Rp 433.000,- and I could get it for free! YAY FOR JAPANESE BOOKS WRITE-OFF! (Even though I hate the JB asst. mgr., I don't mind getting JB stuff for free... so thanks to her, who decided to write off those stuff!) Mwahahahahahahaa... yesterday there were even more stuff but the other staff had already taken them. Like Gundam journal, Chobits 2004 calendar and several other things.
This morning I didn't feel like going to Kino PI. I was lazy and besides there's no one to drive me there. But in the end I just felt like I had to. :3 It's become like a habit, so I miss Kino PI if I don't go there. >.< I took a cab and the fare was really expensive... but IT WAS WORTH IT!!! THANKS TO THE FREEBIES THAT KINO GAVE ME!!! ~ ahhhhhhh, it's so nice to work in my favorite bookstore... *hearts*
The Shokura episode I watched this evening was also really funny. I don't know if this is really one of the episodes that should be shown in November or they just finally broadcast that episode whose broadcast time was canceled due to the earthquake report. But it doesn't matter because as long as I get to see Shokura, I'm happy!
So, the funny part was Junior High School, the "Romance Contest". That was... absolutely hilarious! I am not fond of Ryo Nishikido these days but when he acted as Junno's girlfriend I was ROFL-ing and screaming, "YAY FOR JUNNO+RYO!!!" (Wish it could've been Junno+Jin instead! :3)
Boku wa kimi ni ochiteru yo!
OMG, THAT IS SOOOOOOOOOO SWEET!!!!!!!!!!
JUNNO, SAY THAT TO ME INSTEAD!!! *HEARTS*
JUNNO, WHY ARE YOU SO CUTE?! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO TORTURE ME WITH YOUR SWEETNESS?! AND THOSE EYES OF YOURS!!! CAN YOU GET ANY CUTER SMILING WITH YOUR EYES DISAPPEARING BEHIND YOUR CHEEKS LIKE THAT?! I WANT TO KISS YOU!!! *CHUUUUUUU* I LOVE YOU!!!! DAAAAAAAAISHUKI!!!
Kouki's skit with Yasuda was really funny, too. And Jin!!! OMIGOD!!! His was also great! Too bad he was partnered with Subaru. Subaru wasn't too supportive of Jin's lines! But it was still funny. :P Mwahahahaha...
Eh, I haven't made up my mind whether I like KAT-TUN's version of Andalusia ni Akogarete... I'm not used to of this upbeat version... which sounds totally KAT-TUN. I think I like the old version better. But their dance was absolutely cool! KAT-TUN is definitely the best dancing group in Johnny's! They can dance and they can dance together. Oh, but, you know, now come to think of it, compared Ya Ya Yah's version of this song, I definitely like this version better. Eeep! The Ya Ya Yah one last year was... *gag* In any case, my absolutely favorite is definitely Kouichi-Tsubasa-Sakiho version from SHOCK, of course.
After watching Shokura, I suddenly feel LOVESICK! I want to meet Junno. >.< Hiks, hiks. I get depressed now thinking that KAT-TUN is going to have a concert and I can't go. I want to meet Junno and KAT-TUN. T__________T It's so sad not being able to meet your idols... :3 Anyway. (I'm not usually bitter like this but somehow after this episode, I become bitter. *sigh* Don't mind me. I'll get over it.)
I have to scan some Junno pics and Daigo's! I have a lot of magazines with Daigo in it! And I haven't scanned Junno for two months! :D But I'm hating the scanner right now so maybe later. And I have pictures of myself. ;) I want to post that up too. :D Maybe tomorrow! Hehe.
This is all. I'm going to watch The Daily Show with Jon Stewart: Global Edition now. Good night!

Ohisashiburi desu! ^^
This is like mini-hiatus or something. XD
I didn't really intend to leave this blog for so long. :P This past week before the Idul Fitri holiday has just been really hectic. Sales report, sales projection, schedule arrangement, correspondence... AIEEEE!!! I was having quite the headache, especially since Wednesday. ^^;;;;; I'll be glad when the holiday arrives... :3
Since the holiday is coming soon, I'm probably going to do the following:
- Write a review of Takui's VIVAROCK
- Make a new layout for this blog
- Update all of my fanlistings
- Update all of my sites
- Scan Junno+KAT-TUN pics (if I feel like facing the scanner)
- Watch all those anime series, starting with MATANTEI LOKI RAGNAROK
I've started reading AMERICA: THE BOOK A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction. I've only gotten as far as the Foreword but boy, even that was damn funny. A foreword by THOMAS JEFFERSON! Hilarious. Those TDS writers and Jon Stewart are *hearts* damn great.
And since The Daily Show with Jon Stewart: Global Edition (unfortunately, this is all I get to watch over here =___=) is now one of my only two favorite shows on TV (the other is, of course, Shounen Club), Stephen Colbert, who is not only smart alecky and ass-y but also sexy and good-looking, has become the object of my affection. I have to share him with my babe (who is an even bigger fangirl of his than I am XD) but that's OK. The more Colberty-love, the better.
Oh and, of course, I'm joining the fandom of Stewart/Colbert 2008 presidential elections and Stewart/Colbert yaoi slash pairing. Mwahahaha. Yes, being fangirl = scary, being a Colbertified fangirl = double the scare. Ahahahahahahahaa...
(I'm still pissed that I still haven't got my hands on Sean Astin's book. Will someone please help me buy it?! >.<)
Oh yeah, Mic, you once again pointed out a very important fact for me: I haven't written about J-entertainment programs! It had been such a long time since I ever talked about any J-shows lately. It's not that I don't want to talk about it but... I don't know where to look. I rarely download clips these days and I don't get video tapes of Japanese TV programs anymore (I miss DK and Utaban!) so I don't know what to talk about. However, that TxT DK episode... I'm definitely going to get that one. I will look for it with a vengeance!
Speaking of which, I had a nice chat again with Eiji-san. I showed him my CD collection and he was, like, "Ami-chan! You have so many CDs! This is much more complete than my collection! Can I borrow?" LOL! Then we talked about all those shows on TV. His favorite show is Utaban (same as me) and we're both fans of the Taka-san/Nakai pair. He said he could never stop laughing when he watched the shows. It turned out that we watched the same shows so we were able to talk about the same things and so we were ROFL-ing together. Then he asked if I knew that Dandy guy who was popular last year with his "GETS!" thingie and also Tetsu & Tomo and their "Nandedarou" song. Of course I knew and we sang "Nandedarou" together. LOL! Yesterday it was just an endless laughing session during breaktime with Eiji-san. Everybody was staring at us as if we're aliens... and during all that suddenly someone said, "Ami and Eiji, ni au yo!" And we only responded with more laughter. I think we drove everybody nuts just by laughing. :P
Oh and we had a bit of argument yesterday... as usual... Johnny's fan vs Momusu fan argument... which was fun... because Eiji-san and I were doing it good-naturedly. :D He was like, "Tackey & Tsubasa aren't *that* famous, are they?" and "The KAT-TUN boys are still minors, right?". I was like, "Eww! Ai Kago and Nozomi Tsuji can't sing!" and "Can't they sing anything normal?" LOL. At one point I mentioned something about Hikaru Genji and Shounentai and he dropped his jaws and commented, "How did you know about them? They're old groups!" I just said, "I'm a die-hard Johnny's fan!" He looked at me and then said jokingly, "I get it now. I know why your parents won't let you go to Japan. They're afraid you won't ever come back if you go there." You got that right, Eiji-san! ^_^
Yeah, so it was fun talking to him about all that again. :D
But I bow to Eiji-san. :O While I'm reading manga, he's reading bunko novels. Sasuga Eiji-san. I want to be like him! ^_^
Wah, I think I have to go now. The office has gone crowded. The HRD staff is here. I need to talk to her about something. I'll blog again if I can sneak around to do it. :D Hehe. Yappari, blogging wa tanoshii desu ne~ Motto yareba iindesu! ^_^
9 NOVEMBER 2004 ♥ 8:21
It's time to say something about the real life and stop gushing about my favorite artists!!! Although I daresay I will be gushing about Tackey & Tsubasa in a few minutes from now. XD But anyway, I've been leaving stuff out of my real life out of my recent entries because I've been sleepy again. (Yep, blame it on the sleep again.) :P
Things that happened to me on:
SATURDAY: Absolutely nothing special. I wasn't able to do anything today because I was pressed for time. I woke up at noon and then had to go straight to Kino to check up on things. I suppose I could just check things out by phone. It's not like I did anything this much that day, but I just felt that I had to be there. Now I know what it means to have a responsibility. You just can't leave your team behind working their ass off while you enjoy your days off. At least, I can't do that to my colleagues. ^^;;; Haha. So yeah, I went home... there was this family gathering. My relatives pissed the hell out of me. So I spent the whole time listening to Pierrot in loud volume in the computer room. ^^
SUNDAY: WHAT FUN! ^_^ I was so happy on Sunday. It started with shopping with my mom and sis in Plaza Indonesia. We visited practically all the stores. My mom was there just to drive us and accompany us and possibly provide us with the funds in case we ran out but in the end she also bought some stuff of her own. Of course my sis and I had something to do in influncing her to buy them. *evil laugh* She was surprisingly so easy to influence that day. I wonder why. :P Anyway, in the afternoon, I got a call from my ex-high school friends who asked me to join them for dinner. I agreed to go so I ended up going to Pondok Indah Mall in the evening. After eating and talking and rediscovering ourselves (hey, my friend Yulia is also a secretary! We were able to relate a lot to each other now :P) we went shopping. I went to the local bookstore and bought some 15 translated comic books --my friend Anne was poisoning me this time-- and then we all went clothes-shopping.
What I bought in summary: a white cardigan at U2, a pink sweater in Debenhams, and in NEXT I got myself a nice apple green sweater, a cute white T-shirt and a pink handbag. *SO SATISFIED*
Later in the evening, I chatted with my babe and watched The Daily Show with Jon Stewart: GLOBAL EDITION so I ended my day nicely. ^^
MONDAY: I didn't get much sleep so I was very sleepy during the day. I was being such a nice girl at work! I think my boss was amazed, although I couldn't tell because he didn't say anything. LOL. Usually, I'm like, all sassy with my boss, because I know I'm allowed to, but yesterday I was very polite and submissive. My friends noticed it and asked me what happened to me. They all wondered what happened to the noisy me, who often controls my boss and instead of the other way around. Hahaha. But really, blame it on the sleep. There were some really quiet periods, where my boss needed the computer so I had to give it to him and while I waited for him to finish he allowed me to read the books I brought with me. Hahaha. When I ran out of books, I started whining and before it got too far he sent me to the Customer Service counter to help out the others. LOL. My friend and I ended up gushing over Card Captor Sakura illustration books. Wheee... :D Hahaha. Oh yeah, this day I also bought the tankoubon version of Daa! Daa! Daa! (also known as UFO BABY), a series by Mika Kawamura, which is really cute. Hehe. I also got some other books!!! JON STEWART & TDS' BOOK and XXXHolic U.S. Version vol. 03!!! Fcuk, I haven't got Sean Astin's book though. My aunt wasn't able to find it for me. And why is it so fcuking hard to get Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles U.S. Version Vol. 03?! T____T Anyway, yeah, so many books I got today. I even ordered some more through my senpai in Processing dept. XD
When I got home, I was so sleepy all I wanted to do was sleep so that was what I did. No chatting with my babe, no scanning Daigo pics... I just fell asleep right after I read Tantei Gakuen Q, the manga. >.< Fuuuuh.
So yeah, except for Sunday, my days have been uneventful. I hope the pattern doesn't continue starting this Tuesday. I need some fun!!! :P
And now... TxT on Shin DK!!!
Thanks heaps to Junko for writing the summary and review!!! I was literally ROFL-ing reading the interview transcript!!! Kouchan, Tsuyo, I missed you! ^_____^ And the combination of those two and the other two are... hilarious! XD
I am loving zenra Kouichi for advising his two kouhaitachi to strip down and sleep naked! That is probably the most beautiful thing he said in this show. Ahahahaha... XD I'm surprised Takki still hasn't stripped completely while sleeping. LOLness. If I were a bed, I'd prefer Kouichi sleeping on me (wha, what am I saying? XD) 'cause he totally strips. XD Bwahahahaa. Then again, I don't mind being anyone's bed as long as it's Junno/Tsuba/Daigo/Takki mo OK/Kouichi mo OK... XD Bwahahahaha... (damn, since when did I get this crazy in the morning at work?! I am crazy. Have always been.)
And this part is absolutely cut (I'm quoting Junko! Thanks again!)
Q: have u heard each other's sleep talking?
Takki: 'You're not sleeping!!'
Tsubasa: not sleep talking but snoring and teeth grinding medley. LOl~
Uuuuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhu... my heart flutters imagining some scenes that might be involved while they hear each other talking in their sleep! XD So... do they hear each other talk in their sleep a lot? Ah, I'm sure, I'm sure... they sleep together quite often right? *evil laugh* KAWAAAAAAAIIIIII!!!
Don't. Get. Me. Started. With. Imaginations. Of. Them. In. Their. DX. Bed. Now. (I have yet to pass through half of this day. XD)
Uuuuh, me wanna see this episode! Where should I get it... rent a video? But I have no time to go to the video store... >.< I want to have the whole episode. Maybe I should start looking for downloads... ??? I don't know, I don't know! I just want to see TxT! ^____^
Wah, can't stop the gushing. I think I better stop. My colleagues have started to come into the room and ask me about my boss. Can't let them see me writing this entry with a stupid dreamy smile on my face. XD Nyahahahahaha...
TxT RULES!
KK + DK RULES!
Have a good day!
8 NOVEMBER 2004 ♥ 9:29
Gosh, where have I been? It's as if I disappeared right after I wrote the SERENADE review. ^^;;; Well, I'll tell you what I've been doing later but first, I want to write another review! ^_^ (Yay for my review-craze! LOL!)
Pipo☆Angel's [100% PURE]
TRACK LIST:
01. 100% PURE
02. MINNA NO KOKORO
03. LUVLY, MERRY-GO-ROUND
04. 100% PURE (KARAOKE)
Some background first, because I don't think this group is *that* well-known compared to some other "junior" girl groups, like SweetS, etc.
Pipo*Angel's is a group of four, and the members are --I think-- winners of a reader's model audition by the magazine Pichiremon (heh, I hope I got the magazine name right. I don't know what its the "English" name is supposed to be). So they model for this magazine and then got together to form a group and released their first single, LUVLY, MERRY-GO-ROUND on 18 September 2003 (hey, my 21st birthday!). This song was used for the opening theme of the anime TANTEI GAKUEN Q (Detective School Q) from October to December 2003. Their second single, 100% PURE was released in 18 February 2004 (they seem to like the 18th a lot ;P), and it was also used for the opening theme song for TANTEI GAKUEN Q.
Members' names are: Ute Manami (Utechin; 17), Harada Yurika (Yurika; 16), Asada Miho (Asamiho; 15) and Kabeya Akane (Akane; 14).
Which one is which: in this picture, from left to right, Asada Miho, Ute Manami, Kabeya Akane, Harada Yurika.
Basically I bought this single because of TANTEI GAKUEN Q. I got hooked listening to the catchy tunes of LUVLY, MERRY-GO-ROUND in the opening theme and I just knew I had to somehow have the song. Since a download is not available anywhere, I bought the CD. It was really a gamble because I didn't know who they were and what their music was like. My first impression of them was that they must be somewhat Momusu-ish (because of their age and their cutesy faces), and in case you haven't figured it out already, I am *NOT* fond of Momusu because I think they look silly and ridiculous and none of them can sing despite some of the audible songs created by Tsunku (I've come to respect him because he wrote OMAEYA NAI TO AKANNEN for Sakuraba Yuuichiro and because he's so funny and said he liked Daigocchi!). But then I got my CD and extremely surprised to find that they actually sounded good on the record! (I don't know how they sound live.) They sing well in all of the three songs in this CD and I find that their cute voices are actually *really* cute (meaning, they don't try to sound cute, they *are* cute. Get?).
I like all three songs, from the first track to the last, even though it falls under the category of bubblegum J-pop.
MINNA NO KOKORO is an especially lovely song. It's so nice to sing along and after a few listens, you'd probably be able to sing along without even looking at the lyric sheet.
Of course, my absolute favorite track is LUVLY, MERRY-GO-ROUND, which is a very fast and very uptempo song that is so hard to sing. You need to work on long breaths for this song because the words just come out at every part of the song. I have to admit, for a pop song, this one is not easy to get just by listening to it once or twice. This song actually had to grow on me first but once you listen to it, it won't get out of your head.
100% PURE is not that catchy but it's also good. It's typically J-pop, in sound and arrangement.
The packaging of the CD is... cute. (OMG, how many times have I used the word "cute"?! ^^;;;) It's so pink. *___* But the reason why I loooove it is because of the back cover that features all the Class Q gang - Kyuu, Meg, Ryu, Kinta and Kazuma! - and the card inside that features Kyuu and Meg!!! (I *heart* Meg!) And actually there are these two cartoon characters on the disc itself... I wonder who they are. They remind me a lot of Takashi Murakami's character design. ^^;;
I wouldn't exactly recommend it to just about anyone but fans of Tantei Gakuen Q should own this. Just for the card and the back cover. It's worth it, really, even if you don't like the group. ^^ Hehe. Or perhaps that's just me, who's trying to venture into the fandom of cutesy, minor J-pop girl groups. Mwah.
In any case, this CD is on repeat along with TxT's SERENADE. It would be really weird if I play Takui's VIVAROCK next. ^^;;;;
I don't think I'll be able to write about my activities in the last two days because my boss came unexpectedly early to the office, but at least I wrote the review! So, yay for that! ^^ Any mistakes in the review, and the coding of the images will be fixed later! Have a good day!
5 NOVEMBER 2004 ♥ 22:35
Tackey & Tsubasa [SERENADE]
(Warning: long-ish Tackey & Tsubasa entry ahead, so if you're not a fan, skip this entry!)
I've decided to write a review for [SERENADE] because this is actually one of my ultimate favorite Tackey & Tsubasa releases. It's *up there* with [TOBE TOBE TEN MADE TOBE] as my favorite TxT singles. So, I do think it deserves a proper review from me. Mind you, this is my first time listening to all these songs. I didn't want spoilers so I didn't listen to the songs previously. I use both versions of the singles as reference.
Plus, I haven't been scanning magazines in a looooong, long time so I decided to scan all those TxT pics from Wink Up, Potato and Duet 12/2004.
SERENADE. Brilliant track. I plain love the melody and arrangement of this song. It's just a *WOW*. After hearing this song, I was able to appreciate the PV better and think that the PV is very, very appropriate for this kind of song. The intro in particular is wicked. The guitars and then the beats... especially the beats... it's so Latin-y. Appropriately Latin-y. It's also appropriate that Tsubasa started the verse instead of Takki because Tsubasa's smooth voice gives a good start to the song whereas Takki's high-pitched voice is too sharp for the opening. Tsubasa's voice is smooth all the way through and it makes me tingle hearing his sexy voice. *___* Speaking of vocals, I think this is probably the first time I've ever approved of Tsubasa singing the lower notes and Takki the higher. It just fits. Another thing that I like from this one song is the length. It doesn't feel like it's too long or too short. I just think this is the right length. LOL. This thing may be pointless but hearing the song on CD, I just think of that. Argh, the intro, THE INTRO! I keep pressing the rewind button so I could hear the beginning of the song. Wah, here goes that beat again... yeah, cool.
~ Takizawa version: As usual, Takki gets the normal notes so his version always sounds good and more often than not is preferable than Tsuba's version. After hearing this version, I actually think that his voice is not that high-pitched at all. This is really good. It's practically a complete song. He can sing this on his own! LOL! :P
~ Tsubasa version: Surprisingly, despite him singing the odd notes, this time the Tsubasa version sounds OK, especially compared to his version of YUME MONOGATARI. @_@ Heee. I actually like this version. Haha. :D And plus, as usual, I get to learn his notes, so I can follow his singing if I have to duet with someone. ;)
STARRY SKY. We're a month away from Christmas but this song starts the mood already! ^_^ A feel-good, waffy kind of song. The melody is, I have to admit, kind of typical but it doesn't stop it from being so beautiful. Oh, and, I really must say... the bell sounds at the background... annoys me a bit. ^^;;; No offense but we already get the Christmas-y feel even without the bells. So, I think the song would do better without it. Still, this is an ultimately romantic song and ... believe it or not, this song inspires me for a fiction I'm working on about them (TxT). Despite the lack of harmony like in Serenade, I can still feel the together-ness of TxT in this song. I can just imagine them staring at each other when they sing this song. Ahhhh, wouldn't that be lovely? I was on a writer's block but this song gets rid of that. So yay for Starry Sky!
QUEEN OF R. ... simply ROCKS!!! It doesn't get any better than this. Seriously. Disco. Dancing. 70s. So I guess this is where that sparkling ball on the background of the cover fits in. XD Oh and the police siren effect at the beginning of the song is VERY CREATIVE! Applause for whoever thought of it. It puts the song in the right mood. Vocal effects are appreciated! And the chorus... FRIK IT!!! IT'S SO ADDICTIVE!!! ANOTHER *WOW*. I don't know if there's already a choreography for this song or not but I sure do hope they do something like what Cameron Diaz did in CHARLIE'S ANGELS film. That would be fantastic! Oh and, is it just me or does Tsubasa dominate this song? I don't mean, as in song style... (that of course is definitely Tsubasa style) but how come I hear Tsubasa's voice more than Takki's? Ok, so that proves that there's a lack of harmony like in Serenade (which, I state, is amazing)... but that isn't a problem, I suppose. Besides, who cares (besides of me XD) about it when you just want to boogie down with this song! *dance*
Packaging in general is OK. Pictures are great. A little disappointed with the so-called booklet, but hey, you know, those pictures of Takki and Tsuba with the pink background and pink flowers are lovely!!! I was literally kissing them both on those pics... the lighting effects are also so "glam". I want to make a layout out of them!!! Seriously, the whole look reminds me of Daigo Stardust's ROCK THE PLANET single. Of course, it could be just me, but heh. The sparkles and the glitters... so Daigo. And I did use the word "glam" didn't I? ^^;;;
Oh and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the print on the disc! It's very cool. This is the first time, I think, that TxT's image has been printed on the disc itself. (I can use this for layout!) They haven't done this with the other CDs, right? So I say this part is briliant!!! Thank you, designer! ^_^
Fashion... let me just say once again, their outfits rock and I want to steal Tsubasa's hat. He is so friggin' sexy in that hat. Takki's scarf ain't bad either. So I'd want to steal that too and be a total TxT wannabe. XD Ahahaha... and I like the fact they're uniform-ing their outfit for this single. Both in the single's CDs and in the PV. Look at that~ white shirt and black pants. Wheeeee! I love couple's look like these! XD Glamorous couple look... *____* So, thank you, thank you, stylist!!! ^_^
*drool*
Ok, right, so that's the review. Now on to the scan.
Let me just point out that I HATE SCANNING! >.< (Yes, I'm in HATE mode right now. Don't know about tomorrow though. XD) Even as I'm writing this, the Potato scans are not finished yet! Blah. If this continues I will have to continue the scanning tomorrow. >.< At least the Wink Up ones are up.
Btw, I'm surprised that the magazines came very early to Kino this week! I thought it hasn't even been released in Japan! @_@ Not that I'm complaining. Thanks to my friends in JB section who upon knowing that these magazines have arrived immediately called me on my extension no. and said that they already reserved a copy of each for me!!! *hugs* Arigatou, Inge-chan tachi! ^_^
I think Potato pics are lovelier than Wink Up this time for TxT... but you go ahead and judge on your own:
+Click the pics to see the scans in a POP-UP window!+
+Do not direct-link/hotlink. Do not elsewhere without permission. If I find anyone hotlinking these images, I'm going to blast him/her off. ^-^+
Phew. What an entry. And I still haven't stopped listening to the single. XD I think I'm going to sleep humming these songs... damn, TxT, what have you done to me this time?!
4 NOVEMBER 2004 ♥ 21:40

CDs have arrived!!! Yay for CDJAPAN & EMS!
I'm super duper excited, so forgive me if I become totally fangirlish in this entry! ^__^
And I'm not listening to the CDs yet because I don't want to ruin the wrapping. Hahaha. Silly, yes, I know, but that's how I feel. So for now I'm just laying them in front of me, stare at them and ... caress them. XD
Gosh, I sound like a maniac! BUT I'M A HAPPY MANIAC!!!
I showed the package to my mom and she looked genuinely happy for it too. She was amazed at how fast the package came. I was surprised too, actually. I didn't expect it to be this fast. I was expecting it tomorrow instead. But of course I am not going to complain, especially because this is a much better service than the last time I ordered from CD Japan.
If I'm not mistaken, buying CDs through CD Japan actually counts in the Oricon chart? If that is so... then... YAY! ^_^ I hope my purchasing of TxT and Takui's CDs help them in the charts, somehow. I haven't checked it, though... who's at no. 1 right now. I sure hope it's TxT! ^O^
So, has everyone got his/her copies of the TxT CD(s)?! ^_^
Actually earlier today I was extremely pissed off because that JB MDS Asst. Mgr. bitch is acting up again. She's not only arrogant but a friggin' sea sponge as well. I hope someone would just get rid of her from the company. I can't frikking stand her anymore. My senpai and I were thinking of ways of how to get her deported even. LOL. We are so mean. But that was probably the only annoying thing that happened today. After an episode with her, I busied myself by re-arranging my desk and re-organizing my files. The EB MDS Asst. Mgr. is on leave today and my boss is still on business trip. So I was feeling quite comfy at the office since eysterday... except during my episodes with that bitch.
Anyway, I tried to stay optimistic and it paid off because when I got home I saw the package. After that I watched some Card Captor Sakura and Tantei Gakuen Q. I might be collecting Tantei Gakuen Q after I finish reading CCS... it's exciting! The anime is way fun to watch. I constantly kept trying to figure out the solution for the cases. Plus, there are so many cute characters in the anime series... I really like the girls, Megumi and Yukihira... and also lately there's another one, Kumiko Touya (?). The guys are also cool. Hehe. So, yeah, I think I found another obsession... so obsessed already that I bought a CD of its opening songs by a girl band! (Heee, I still can't believe I bought a CD by a J-pop girl band!)
Ahhh, I can't really concentrate right now. Too excited about the CDs. I can't wait to listen to them tomorrow! And right after I listen to it, I'm going to write a review! ^_^ Once again, YAY FOR CDs!!!
PS. I have a major crush on John Edwards! ♥♥♥

Hontou ni, kakkoii jyan! Omoshiroi desu yo~ Hayaku kita houga iindesu!
From CD Japan:
Tackey & Tsubasa's new single contains "Serenade," a Christmas song "Starry Sky," two karaoke tracks, and more. The limited edition comes with a 12-page booklet. Also the regular edition is available (*Sleeve cover artwork is different from the limited edition's).
Just as I thought, the EMS tracking is not helpful at all. But to know that it's been shipped from Japan since yesterday it makes me feel a bit secure about the whole thing. I hope it arrives soon. I can hardly wait anymore.
I WANT TSUBASA'S HAT~!!! (ISN'T HE THE COOLEST GUY?! *____*)
Such a Daigo reference: the hat, the sparkles, that shiny sparkly ball they're sitting on (I knew there was a name for it but it just escaps me right now :P)... I knew there was a thread that connects Daigo and Tsubasa aside of their being very skinny, very lovely guys. <3
Btw, I was talking to Tsubarashii and apparently she can't buy this particular single. I understand her feelings and feel sorry to hear that. But I hope she'll be able to get them later! Ganbatte! ^^
*goes back surfing*

Although I can't really say it's great to be back at work, I'm glad that I'm in the office once more and can use the computer to blog. I think I've gotten used to blogging in the office that I don't feel like typing anything when I'm at home. Bad habit, ne? I mustn't get carried away. XD
Yesterday I took a sick leave because I once again caught cold. It wasn't as bad as last time; at least I didn't get a fever or anything. But still, I hate being sick. I made that trip to the doctor as soon as possible and asked for medicines. She prescribed me one antibiotic and three types of vitamins, mainly to maintain my condition after I get well. I really can't afford to fall sick again, literally. The medical bills are getting out of control.
Anyway, let's not dwell on my neverending illness... especially when there are plenty of reasons to be happy! ^_^
I received the e-mail from CDJapan yesterday and it said that my orders have been shipped! So now the official I'm-worrying-about-the-shipment-when-the-hell-is-it-going-to-arrive period has begun! ^^ Fortunately, there's an EMS tracking number on it so I can check where my items' location is at the moment but in the past it hasn't proven to be helpful, although I'm usually glad when I see that it has arrived at least at the airport in Jakarta. Just for a recap, I ordered Tackey & Tsubasa's new single, of which the full title I still don't remember, both versions normal and limited, as well as Takui's latest album and *gasp* Pipo Angel's 100% PURE. So in a matter of days (hopefully shorter), I'm going to be the proud owner of all of the above. Yay for CDs!!!
This morning, my mom SMS-ed me saying that my aunt, who is one of the benefactor of the CDs, is going to go to Singapore and asked if I wanted any magazines. I said that I was quite sick of seeing magazines for a while (it's true; I have tons of them that I haven't got time to read) and I wanted to read something with substance (as much as I adore Tsubasa RC and CCS, comic books aren't exactly "substantial"). So I asked my mom to ask my aunt to buy me Sean Astin's THERE AND BACK AGAIN: AN ACTOR'S TALE and Jon Stewart's AMERICA (THE BOOK) that I've coveted for the longest time now. I thought I might ask for Michael Moore's book, but since that one is already available here, what's the point of getting it elsewhere? (I just hope I don't run out of it. :P)
Speaking of books, I got Fi a book as a birthday present. Fi has the weirdest tastes in literature. Hahaha. No, actually, it's not weird. We just have different tastes in books. She's the Asian/Brit contemporary literature type (I think) and I'm all for European classics. But anyway, I was glad that I managed to get her something from her birthday wishlist, which is Irvine Welsh's THE ACID HOUSE. According to her, she had wanted to buy it for a year (why didn't you, dear?! XD)... I guess she was just waiting for someone to buy it for her and I fell for it, because she's my best friend and I love her. LOL. In any case, it's also a good thing that I work in a bookstore so I have a good resource. Heh, heh.
Holiday bonus is supposed to be there already in my bank account today. I just hope the information from my colleagues are correct. I'm assuming that I'm getting half of my salary... but I don't want to expect too much just in case it's not up to my expectations. Still, I'm happy enough that I get the bonus, because I'm new and I thought I wasn't getting any at all! As it turned out to be, some of the newer staff members are also already in the list for holiday bonus recipients. But I don't know what the calculation for that is. Frankly, I don't care. I just bother to think about it because most of my CS colleagues have been plaguing me for ^^
Lastly, the boss is not here at the moment. In fact, he won't be here either for the rest of the day and tomorrow. He's on a business trip (again) and won't be back until Friday. Apparently, he gave instructions for me through a colleague of mine and I am told to "work in CS while he's gone and clarify the sales report of Kino PI to SIMS". I get the CS part but I don't understand at all about the sales report thingie? What's that all about, huh? @_@ But anyway. I'll figure it out.
I guess I'll start working now. Have a good day everybody!

First things first:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FI!
Sorry this greeting came a day late, but at least I already called you, ne~ Hehe. We have to get together soon so we can celebrate your birthday! It makes me feel bad because we met for my birthday but we didn't get to meet for yours! And plus, I want to watch a lot of things with yooooooouuuu! Anyway, best wishes, dear!!! ^-^ Happy 23rd! (Wow, you're 23?! XD *DUCK FROM ATTACKS*)
I know I haven't been the most diligent when it comes to writing in this blog lately but I've been sleepy. (Yeah, yeah, we heard the excuse... :P) Noooo, I'm serious!!! I have been sleepy. No mood to type long and serious. So I just write in my LJ. Ahahaha... I've even been thinking of purchasing a paid account! :3 But nah, I still love this blog more. And I am NOT going to change the layout even though it's already November because I still love this pinkness! ^_^ Pink never dies.
Gosh, it's November already ne~ End of year is approaching. I don't know what I should be excited about. Maybe... it's because LOTR: ROTK DVD Extended Edition that is going to be released soon. Or is it because the promise of Idul Fitri holiday. But in any case, I'm happy that November is here! This is going to be my 8th month working in this company. It's unbelieveable!!! I didn't know I'd been there for that long. I don't feel like I've accomplished anything significant, though. :3 Hehe. Well, obviously, writing this blog entry from work won't get me anywhere so I guess I should stop. ... NOT! XD
Speaking of November... TACKEY & TSUBASA'S NEW SINGLE IS GOING TO BE RELEASED IN A FEW DAYS' TIME! YAY!!! ^___^ I CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT!!! ♥♥♥
But I do wonder... now that the new single is going to be released I'm hooked to listening to 2WENTY 2WO all over again. I can't stop listening to Love Spiral in particular. That song is very SMAP-ish. The intro reminds me a lot of their Jyara Jyara Japan (if I remember the title correctly). I always thought this song was very familiar and it was only last Saturday did I realize which song it resembled. But it's catchy in its own way and of course TxT's vocals are way better than SMAP's. Haha. I have an idea for this video... I'll work on it in my head. In fact, I'll put on my ear phone and listen to the CD right now so I can imagine it... it'll be my wake-up call. (FYI, no, I haven't woken up actually. I'm still very sleepy and I am writing this with my eyes half closed.)
Other than that, I am playing Merry and Janne Da Arc songs on repeat. I wrote a bit about them here. I'll just say that basically I'm discovering that those two J-rock bands are amazing and I'm on way in becoming a serious fan (which means, bye bye money! XD)
w-inds' Kirei Da, KAT-TUN's Never Again, Rag Fair's Drive Me Blue and Orange Range's Hana are also non-stop on my playlist. It got to a point where I just had to sing along and so I searched for the lyrics of the song and sang along the whole time those four songs played on my WMP (which took about three hours last night. LOL. So yeah, I was singing for three hourse. Feels like karaoke, you know?)
I totally love the meaning of Kirei Da. It's a lovely break-up song. I can't really relate to it, though, because apparently it talks about not being able to get rid of the ex's picture because she looks so beautiful in it. Me, the last time I broke up with someone, I returned everything to him, including the pics I had of him and some that we took together. LOL. I'm sure he had no qualms in burning them. XD Oh well... but even though I can't really say the song describes me, I know the feeling of not being able to let go after a break-up. It happens. That's why this song is beautiful and... wah, Keita's voice!!! *hearts*
As for never Again... I just realized... the lyrics... ^^;;;;; Ahaha... boys, want me to write you English lyrics?! OMG, I wished the song didn't have to have English lyrics. "This situation frastrate on me". *howl with laughter* Oh dear god... *wipes tears from eyes* But I do like the part where they sing "never forget every thing you said to me, never forget every thing you've done to me". The transitional part from the previous one to that part is so addictive to sing along to (don't ask me). Other favorite parts: Junno's lines (I love his voice! ♥) and the part where Jin sings "Unmei wa? No fake!" Anyway, this song is also really cool. Basically, they don't want to return to the lover they once had because they had enough. I think. Well, I can certainly relate to this one. LOL. Some past lovers are best forgotten (but not forgiven). >.<
Waaaai, now I wanna go back and sing all these songs...
Ooops, Boss just called and gave me some instructions. Fine, I'll stop here and get to work. :P No use sitting here just humming Kirei Da and Never Again while wishing I had my magazines with me. So I guess... mata ato de ne! ^^ Buona giornata a tutti!!!
