I'm at the office. Blogging. Because I don't know what else to do. T_T I have migraines. I can't concentrate on anything. I need Caffe Mocha. :3

Yesterday I didn't come online for long because I was reading TSUBASA RC, vol. 5-7. And now, I really can't wait to read Vol. 8. I want to know what's going on! And there were SUMOMO & KOTOKO! ^_^ I was just telling Kar-kun how I want to see Sumomo in the series and yay, there's not only Sumomo but also Kotoko! And there was also Hibiya Chitose. Where's Hideki~~... T_T I want to see him too. :\
Anyway, the story gets weirder and weirder. What's Seishirou doing there? @_@ Haaaaa. And Subaru... he's mentioned but I don't see him. Gah. How long do I have to wait before I can read vol. 8?

I envy my company for owning a new SONY digicam. Of course, I've been told to be in charge of the camera, but it's still not mine. :3 I want to use it. XD hahaha. Because there are a lot of interesting things that I want to take picture of! And I simply can't wait until someone goes to HK to buy the digicam I want. So this means I have to start considering to buy from the range that is available here. (My dad offered to buy me a webcam but I need more than a webcam. I told him that if he wants to offer me to buy anything, why not a new laptop? XD He called me "sneaky". LOL.)

This morning I was soooooo happy because there was an interaction with E.K.-kun. ^-^ Basically he came into my room and asked me to help him get a new name tag because it was somewhat damaged. I told him, "Fine, I'll talk to HRD. Give it to me me." So he did. Then I talked to HRD and the staff said, "OK, I'll do it. Tell him to get it at my desk later." I went out to the floor to find him and relay the message. When I was there, his friend saw me talking to him and asked what was going on. I told him about E.K.'s name tag problem and his friend half jokingly asked how it could've happened. I shrugged and joked that he probably bit his name tag and tried to eat it because he was angry. His friend laughed and E.K. blushed oh so cutely. And then E.K. replied, "OK, so I ate it. I was hungry and didn't have food with me." Just then I realized: WE ARE DAJARE-ING TOGETHER! XD LOL. Anyway, he got a new name tag and I gave it back to him instead of having him go to pick it up at HRD's desk. He said thanks. And I felt like jumping all over the place... >.< CHO-URESHII!!!

One and a half hour until I go home. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. I'll go and kill time by listening to Tackey & Tsubasa's 22.

Waaaaaaaaaaai! Weekend is almost over again and it's... I HATE MONDAY session again! >.< Although, I'm thinking of not coming to work tomorrow under the excuse of menstruation cramps, which I'm really feeling although not as bad as the previous month's cramps, but there are some things to do in the office so I am wondering whether I should really call in sick or not. Anyway, I'll think about it later!

How is minna-san's weekend? Good? Good. OK! ^-^

(If you want to know why I seem to be excessively cheerful at this time of the day, then you should blame it on the sinfully delicious Oreo milk shake that I'm drinking. ^-^)

One of the reason's why my weekend is good is because of yesterday's Shounen Club. Hell, if you think it's impossible for me to love Junnosuke Taguchi even more after all this (and after last month's performance of NEVER AGAIN)... then you're wrong. Because I doooooooo! I love Junnosuke even more! And blame it on his Captain Dajare skit, on his tap dancing, and on the NEVER AGAIN performance. This second performance of that song in Shokura has a very different feel from the first one I saw. The second time around, the boys weren't as dynamic as in the previous one, but somehow they gave me the impression of being very mature. The pace is slower, but it just makes them move more smoothly and not look like they're rushing. Get what I mean? Anyway, they looked more suave in this second performance and I like what I see. KAT-TUN can only get better from there.

So now I'm sulking because my WU/Potato/Duet hasn't arrived... *kicks customs and new government* ...I want to see Junno! >.<

Yesterday I went to Kino to become photographer for an event (yes, I worked on a Saturday). The only reason why I agreed to come was because the company has a new digicam and no one is able to use it yet other than me. And since I'm so fakking loyal (or stupid), I went and helped the promotions team to document the event. My sister tagged along and while I was working she went to look for a pair of new shoes. I hung out with my peeps (the CS staff :P) while waiting for my sister and ranted about that new guy who fell sick only after one day at work. LOLness. And since I was not in my working attire, wearing smoky eyes make-up and carrying a digital camera and a discman, a customer stared at me as if I was an alien when I tried to answer her queries regarding Kino. After I left to run errands for the promotions team (see, I told you I was ~~loyal~~ stupid), I overheard my friends explaining to the customer that I worked in the office as a customer service coordinator and that usually I don't look like a goth punk wannabe. LOLness. XD

As usual I bought something from Kino:

- Four issues of ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY
- Dan Brown's DECEPTION POINT

Holy macaroni! I finally completed my Dan Brown collection. I have all four of his novels! ^_^ Yayness! :D Complete review of Dan Brown and DECEPTION POINT tomorrow after I finish reading.

That's about all from me for now. I'm going to go back to chatting with my babe and probably gush over Stephen Colbert in anticipation of the upcoming THE DAILY SHOW re-run. Nightie night!

I only slept two hours last night and it really explains why I didn't ~~feel like doing~~ do anything at all today other than conduct the management meeting today and watch a film at the cinema. @_@ I seriously need sleep but I'm waiting for Cardcaptor Sakura on Animax. After that, I'm going straight to bed. Argh.

OK, the film. I watched THE PRINCESS DIARIES 2: ROYAL ENGAGEMENT starring two of my favorite young actresses, Raven and Anne Hathaway! ^_^ And that Heather Matarazzo is starting to grow on me. :) Lots of cute male faces, too. Lord Deveraux, and then the English suitor, and the new bodyguard... wahahaha... babe-fest! ^-^
I like this sequel better! It's so funny. There was one pointless scene that I thought was BRILLIANT!!! So, it was a garden party and there was a performer... Johnny Blue, someone? And he's Caucasian but he's introduced as guest from Asia and then he started singing in CHINESE!!! OMG! That was just fakking hilarious and brilliant! LOL!
I'm seriously thinking of joining FLs! Seriously, I love this film a lot. I also love the first one. It took a while to like the first one but now I'm completely hooked. The second one takes faster to like. ;) So yeah, I'm hooked. I'm a fan!

I'm nodding off. Soooooooooooo sleepy. *yawn*

Before I leave just want to say that I've downloaded five Koshi Inaba's songs from his new album. Waaaaaa! Thanks ojochan! ^-^ Hmmm... on a first listen, I'd say his first solo album is better. This one is too light for my ears (yeah, by now I'm used to of the harder rock sounds. @_@) LOL. But still... it's Inaba's songs! ^__________^ YAYness for Koshi Inaba!

And I bought this Johnny's Jr. book today. I happened to be passing by the GRAPHICS highlight shelf to find a mook but instead I saw this being lined up among the huge pictorial books there. There are 5 (five) copies, so for those of you who are interested (and live in JKT), you can buy it in Kino PS. I think Kino PI doesn't have it, but you can go and check. Basically, I bought it for Junno + KAT-TUN, Akki and Fumito of ABC. Heh, heh. Mostly old pics, though. I mean, they're pics I've already seen before, but it's just nice to get the book. I'm going to find out which other books on Jr. and KAT-TUN are available for order. I know J-MANIA is available, but I want moooooore. *evil laugh* Yes, I'm splurging! Splurge, splurge... SPLUUUUURGE!!!

Today I got very pissed off with a new staff that I recruited. I won't elaborate but I was pissed enough that I wanted to cut him off then and there despite his supposedly "critical" situation. I mean, ergh, you've only worked there for one day, dude. Are you really that weak? @_@ What a wimp. See, this guy, he's a damn hypocrite. I hate him. HATE HATE HATE!!! See if I'm willing to listen to his excuses anymore. He can forget about everything I promised him! Fakk him!

A customer also annoyed me today. So this so-called, upper class, filthy rich female customer came to the store and accused us of being "mercenary" and "opportunists" because we set a price of a local magazine higher than its original price. Then she demanded a refund for the extra price we set for her. The stupid thing is... THE PRICE DIFFERENCE IS ONLY FIVE HUNDRED RUPIAH HIGHER! You heard me: Rp 500,-! Five fukking hundred rupiah!!! And she's supposed to be wealthy! And she demanded a refund of Rp 500,-! Omigod. How lame and pathetic can she get?!
I've come across refund cases a lot. Claims for refunds are made so often that I'm getting sick of it. But at least those other cases are above Rp 10.000,- ... and this rich lady is fussing about a mere fakking five hundred rupiah!
She is on the blacklist already.

I think I better go to bed. My brain and eyes are tired. And I haven't even finished reading Tsubasa RC vol. 3 *sigh* So I'll blog again later from work. Heh, heh, I'm getting bolder and bolder. ^-^ But Boss is gone so ... who cares?! Nyahahahahahaha... XD

Wah, I'm blogging. ^^;;; I wasn't planning to because, well, I thought I was going to be so dead tired after what I did today. :3 But anyway, couldn't resist the temptation to write something here.

This evening I invited my family to dinner at Sakana restaurant. It was for my 22nd birthday celebration and also as a treat from my very first salary. OK, I know it's sooooooo late to treat them with my first salary as I started working in April but anyway, that time we were all busy and couldn't find the right time to actually gather and eat together in that restaurant. And why Sakana? Because my family loves Japanese food and I thought I'd like to introduce an authentic Japanese restaurant to them. Heh, heh.
I had okonomiyaki as usual, but my dad was craving for sukiyaki and my mom just couldn't get away from her usual favorite, tempura. My sister, on the other hand, got UNAGI, which I usually cringe at. Everybody loved the food and the atmosphere and we were sooooo full. We stayed a bit late in the restaurant, just talking. My sister talked about her visit to a private university today and I talked about things from the office, and my mom and dad listened. They were like, "Whoa, our kids are growing up. Amy is working and Pika is about to start uni." Heh, heh. :P
Afterwards, the took the busway to go my dad's office, where his car was still parked. Then we went home by his car. My sister was quite excited as that was her first busway experience (LOL!) and I was excited because it's not everyday that I get to ride in my dad's luxurious car. Hahaha.

Oh and today, I finally purchased the Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles Japanese version. I am missing volumes 2 and 4. I think I'm going to order it or find it in Singapore. My friends asked me why I have to buy the Japanese version when I'm already intent on collecting the English version. I told them that I looooove the series so much that I want to have the original version. Hehe. :D I got a 20% discount from the company (^_^) but funnily the discount value was the same as the book's retail price. So it was like, buy 4 get 1 free. LOLness. ^-^ Since my boss is gone, tomorrow I'm going to start reading vol. 3 to pass my time. One volume a day until the boss comes back.

Right, that's about all the interesting thing I did today. I'm bloated anyway so I can't think clearly. *sigh* And I'm having problems with my new FL's layout. *frustrated* So I have to find out what's wrong before I go to bed! Gaaaah. Ganbarimasu!

Do you see a Super Big Smile on my face right now? ^_______^ I am smiling big time right now. Know why? Because Boss & MDS Asst. Mgr. finally left today for Frankfurt and I won't be seeing them for the next two weeks. Isn't that lovely?! I don't have to listen to all of the AM's bullshit, and I don't have to type my boss' stressful e-mails! ^_^ I can focus 100% on recruitments and customer service and... more importantly... I can work on my own pace! *dance around the room* YAY!

I asked Boss to buy me Jordi Labanda's illustration book, HEY DAY. He offered to buy me more stuff but I told him, "Well, that book is thick and wide. You're going to have trouble bringing it back, sir. That'll do." OMIGOD! I sound like the boss! XD But anyway, he's kind. So he's promised to try to find the book for moi. :3

Yesterday... nothing really special. Went to work. Helped Boss prepare for his trip. Replied those (stressful) e-mails. Go crazy over Junno and Daigo. Watched anime (MATANTEI LOKI RAGNAROK is so freaking scary -- I don't want to watch it anymore! >.<). Listened to CDs. Take a nap. Play Freecell. Read THE DA VINCI CODE. Ate buttered plain croissant. Replied Bryan's e-mail. Arranged CD book contents. Drank strawberry milk. Obsessing over Sakura and Syaoran. Sleep.

Today, I picked up some magazines.

I love it! >.< Although, ergh, I'm so stupid... I sort of ruined the cover while trying to get the barcode off the front cover. *cry* Oh well... as long as Junno's face's still visible. Ne? ^_^

Plus, I also got Kaori Yuki's ANGEL SANCTUARY artbook, Angel Cage. It's so cool. I am so loving Setsuna Mudou. *___* (Thanks to everyone who has offered me to sell their copies of the Angel Sanctuary books to me. I already got it from Kino. Very cheap. ;) But thanks anyway. ^_^)

Album reviews! ^_^

PHOS - The Official ATHENS 2004 Olympic Games Greek Album
This is the third Olympic album I bought. I bought it only recently because when I bought UNITY and HARMONY the first time, this album hadn't entered the store yet.
The album is very mellow and for those who don't like folk sounds probably won't enjoy the sound of this album. It's even too folk-y for me. But for those who want to learn more about Greek culture, you can finally find out some things from this album. I think Greek songs - the ones I've heard in the Closing Ceremony of the Olympics anyway - do tend to have that folkish sound. For the it sounds like a mix of Latin and Arabic. LOL. Weird way to describe it, I know, but that's what my ears are telling me.
I find the Greek language very much like Portuguese. I have no clue at all about Greek, so I could be wrong, but it does sound very similar. It's not really a language that is suitable for music, unlike Italian, French or Spanish, but it's not that bad. The poetries sound better than the actual songs. This is definitely for the cultural-minded.

LAURA PAUSINI - FROM THE INSIDE
Hmmm..... what can I say? I think this album won't change my mind of the opinion: "Italians should sing in Italian, and not in English."
Laura's attempt at singing in English will not surpass her brilliance in singing in Spanish (especially Spanish) or French. Sound-wise, it's of course very Pausini, there's no doubt about it. You can expect the usual Pausini sound, especially from her last two Italian albums, which I happen to like very much. But I just can't help but wishing that she'd stick to her native tongue.
Of course, it's probably just me (because I'm such an italiana wannabe) that I started translating her songs in my mind into Italian. LOL! I would recommend this album for collection of those who are really big fans of la Pausini, but don't buy it if you're looking forward to hear her like she was singing in her previous albums. It just isn't the same.

SE7EN - MUST LISTEN (2ND ALBUM)
The one album I bought out of impulse. I wasn't expecting it there but this one was the one that pleased me the most.
Se7en's voice is better and it's not as "candy-like" as it was in the first album. His song is still leaning towards R&B, still rather down-tempo, but the melody is definitely more suave and sophisticated now. I like almost every song in this album; they soothe me a lot.
Another thing that makes me feel very pleased for having bought it is the packaging. It's one of the coolest K-pop album package that I have ( Bi's first album was also classy and cool). The blue CD case is just... beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. It's definitely worth the money.
The bonus track just makes me want to press REPEAT all over again! It's got Wheesung too! The other singer, Taebin (is it?), ain't bad either although I have no idea who he is. The 14th track is also beautiful! Love it, absolutely love it. This album is going to be on my playlist for a very long time!

Yatta! Finally did my album review. ^_^

Today I watched STEPFORD WIVES with my sis and Fi. It's a good film! It's actually better than I expected to be. I knew it was going to be freakish somewhat but it becomes better because... two (ex-)LOTR cast made an appearance! Hahaha. OK, they didn't actually make a cameo ... well in sense they did. You see, there was a scene where Joanna (Nicole Kidman) and her friend Bobby (Bette Midler) went through their gay friend's discarded clothing in the trash can. They couldn't believe that their friend actually threw away his favorite designer clothes... eventually they also found... a framed picture of Orlando Bloom and a Viggo Mortensen T-shirt. XD Hahaha... SO FREAKING HILARIOUS!!! Brilliant. And despite the girlish-ness, which isn't really my style, this film has brilliant color schemes and the cinematography is neat. So, yeah, recommended. Definitely.

Speaking of LOTR, I made several icons with the theme LOTR is LOVE and they're all in ::MAE GOVANNEN::.

Lastly, I just want to say that ... I hate Monday. And I shall say it again tomorrow. XP

IT'S FINALLY OPENED!!! DAIGO'S OFFICIAL PERSONAL SITE! SOOOOOOO MANY CUTE PICTURES!!! ALL DAIGO FANS MUST SEE IT! THIS GUY IS SO, SO CUTE! I LOVE HIM!!!

OK, I must calm down first before I start saying anything else. LOL.
I had fun with the site today; I translated his diary entries, which are all very funny. He was talking about wanting to do fashion shows (catwalk) in Paris and Milan. His favorite supermodels are Kate Moss and Gemma ~~Woods~~ Ward (THANKS CECIL FOR THE CORRECTION!). He also said that he missed Avril (Lavigne?) in the SAMASONI, which I think is a rock festival. He got to see N.E.R.D. though. Plus, he was playing around with this Eminem thing. Gosh, I became totally fangirlish when I read those. I couldn't help it. Daigocchi is sooooooo kawaii ♥~

From now on, I will translate all of his diary entries so we can all gush together on Daigo's cuteness. ^_^

Oh and, you know what... I sent Daigo a message! Yes, through that website! We can send messages to Daigo. I didn't have the Japanese character writer so I couldn't write my message in kanji/hiragana/katakana. Instead I used romaji. But I hope he understands it. I just told him that I listen to his CDs daily and that by listening to his CDs in the morning on my way to work, I become "genki". And I wish him good luck on his efforts to be a top singer in Japan. And of course I told him I like him a lot. I hope he gets lots and lots of messages from his fans!!!

Changing topic now, today I bought several new CDs. But I don't think I will talk about them now because I haven't listened to all of them. Even though they're not really the CDs I want in my wishlist, they're pretty good to listen to because I am already so, so bored with the ones I have now. So tomorrow, I'll make complete reviews. ^-^

News from my senpai: she said that my copy of TOP STAGE has arrived!!! She didn't tell me which volume, though, because I back-ordered three volumes and I don't know which one arrived for me. I'll go to PI tomorrow and check with Istoyo after I return from my colleague's wedding, which I will attend with my other colleagues.

Stories from the bookstore... well, no hottie today. But there was that really, really annoying customer who thinks that she's a goddess or something. Every time she comes to the store, she always asks irrelevant questions to our staff and she seems to think that all of our staff is stupid and that we don't understand Japanese at all. And she thinks we must be "un-trendy" and don't know anything about the manga she keeps asking us about. Then she likes to ask us to unwrap so many books so she could see them but never buys them at all! HELLO?! Today, she asked to borrow our CD from the playlist. We told her, No, it's against the rules, you can't borrow it from us. Then she pushed us to take the CD that was playing on the player because she wanted to see the disc. I mean, WHAT'S YOUR BUSINESS?! She's such a fuss. And that's why she's on our blacklist. LOL. Hey, we love our customers (some of them anyway LOL) but we're not stupid, nor are we there as servants, so that girl can jut see if anybody will serve her now. ^-^

Oh, and I am hating my boss.

Now that I've said all that... I think I'm just going to bed and try to wake up early tomorrow morning. Mwah! :3

NEW LAYOUT!!!

Still using illustrations. This time it's Takashi Murakami. And it's Mr. DOB from his kaikaikiki post cards collection. He has the cutest surreal illustrations. It looks both sweet and quite scary at the same time. I decided to go for this particular illustration from the collection because it's pink. Another thing that you might notice... there are three columns here! I don't know how long I've gone on without three column! :o I think the last time I used three columns in my layout is for the Takki birthday layout in April 2003. That's one and a half years ago! How time flies~ And before I know it, I'm already on my 25th layout. ^^

I just want to talk a little about what happened yesterday (30 September 2004). This is another RAVE!

Another hottie showed up at the store today. And whaddya know, everybody in the store was checking him out. He is such a magnet! All the girls were like giggling and staring and drooling at him while the guys were laughing at us but at the same time they also admitted that the guy we were checking out was gorgeous. One of the lit. guys even said, "He's so built. Very good-looking. I would love to be like him." When he paid for his purchase, the cashier staff (i.e. all female) were also staring at him. They got his name. Let's call him by his initials: E.J.W. He's either Dutch or Swedish. I think Dutch. The cashier staff told me that he spoke good Indonesian. After he paid, I went inside to the office. But when I got out again, everybody said to me, "You just missed him!!! HE RETURNED HERE AND BOUGHT MORE BOOKS!" I was, like, "Damn, there goes my chance..." But as I passed by Starbucks, I saw him ordering coffee and sitting there. He ended up sitting in Starbucks for two hours, just working with his laptop. The coolest thing about him? He wears headphones and was headbanging to the music that he was listening to. I love that.

Wait, there's more! There's another hottie! ... TWO MORE HOTTIES! Apparently, there was this Caucasian guy and there was his friend, a guy who looks like he's mixed (Asian-Caucasian). Although they were hot (and bought a lot of books from us), they didn't stir as much chaos as E.J.W. Haha...

So yeah, these past few days, I'm quite entertained. I hope they keep coming!!! Working in Kino became a little bit less bleak. Well, okay, MUCH LESS bleak. XD

I finally watched the PV for Daigo Stardust's [ROCK THE PLANET]. And... oh wow. He is such a looker! LOL! ^^ And he is definitely a boke. I reconfirm that: HE IS A BOKE! An adorable one. I love his make-up. His make-up really makes me want to do mine like his! That ROCK THE PLANET outfit is also amazing. I somehow like the cape thing that he wears. Another thing that I like is his dancing! How cute is that!!! For other people, it might be leaning towards "cheesy" but not for a major Daigo fan. His fans will certainly drool. And he really does bring glam back to life in Japan. LOL. This is Ziggy Stardust material! ^^;;; ... and it reminds me also of [VELVET GOLDMINE]. Gosh, Daigo, is it possible that I love you more now?! >.<

*yawn* I'm going to bed now. There's still one more day of work in this month. Yes, as much as I hate it, I still have to go through it because... well, I just have to. It's called "sense of responsibility". Besides, there's another reason why I want to go to the office tomorrow. Heh, heh. I'm not going to say it, though. LOL.
