Subject: Mega Exhaustion

This morning started a bit strangely because I couldn't wake up at all. When I vaguely heard my mom calling out, "It's EIGHT!!! You have to go to work!" I completely ignored her and continued on sleeping until 9.30. Thus I came in late to work by two and a half hours. XD LOLness. Oh well. I did try calling the HRD staff and said, "I'm going to be late because I have to go to the bank." She wasn't there. The store operations asst. mgr. took the message instead. He didn't realize I did that only to save my ass. XD

So, let's thread back to last night... or more like VERY EARLY THIS MORNING, and to the reason why I couldn't wake up.
I was watching the Olympics Closing Ceremony. I cried a lot during the ceremony, esp. when the Italian runner Stefano Baldini claimed Gold in Men's marathon, and when Gianna Angelopoulous-Daskalaki, president of the Athens 2004 Games, made her speech. So touching!!! But there were times when I would get up and dance, not only to get rid of the massive sleepiness that was gathering in the dead of the night during the broadcast, but also because the Greek singers entertained me a lot. I think I'm going to buy PHOS, the Official Olympic Games 2004 Greek music album, because I think those Greek songs were damn fun to hear and dance to. Hee hee. :D
I taped the show but I didn't leave it to bed. I watched the whole thing. By the time the broadcast ended, my eyes were swollen from the tears (yes, I do that the Olympics *that* seriously) and I was yawning every ten seconds. So I went to bed and didn't wake up until late in the morning. ^^;;;;

Of course, I would've taken a nap yesterday so I wouldn't be so sleepy but I had a gathering with MIC AND FRE!!! OHISASHIBURI DESU!!!
Gosh, it's been MONTHS since the last time we saw each other and had a gathering of three!!!
It started with a big confusion though. I knew Mic said she was going to be late because she had to pick up her aunt at the airport first and was only going to make it at 12 instead of 11 as we had originally planned but then the plan changed because the plane was delayed and she sent both Fre and me an SMS. The thing is that, I didn't receive her SMS! I also didn't receive Fre's SMS that said that she was already there. So I went to Kino, looked for them and didn't see any of them. I thought they were going to be a little bit late, so I hung out there. After 20 mins. however I started to feel suspicious. So I called Fre and asked her where she was and she said she was waiting outside Kino! ^^;;; LOLness. In fact, she'd been there for more than an hour!!! Gomenasai~~ *kick my stupid phone network* --> I haven't been able to send/receive people's messages lately! Urgh.
Anyway, Fre and I were hungry so we went to eat in Sushi Tei while waiting for Mic. She came towards the end of our meal and joined us to sit down. We started chatting right away in Sushi Tei and after we paid, we went to Dome, which was just next to Sushi Tei to continue our conversations with coffee and cakes. ^^ The three of us had Dome Kahlua Espreski, the next best thing after Starbucks Caramel Frappuccino, and I had apple pie while Mic had tiramisu. ^^ First time gathering *NOT* in Starbucks, but in DOME. And this time we didn't get kicked out or looked at by the waiters. XD The waiter first tried to recommend us some drinks but we already knew what we wanted and he was a bit baffled. LOL. We were like, "Yeah, I've tried that" every time he tried to recommend something. Wahahaha...
We stayed there for sooooo long. We ended up sitting there for about three hours, I think. As usual, the conversation flowed easily, with us jumping from topic to topic. We talked about anything and everything. See, the best thing about having a gathering with Mic and Fre (and Kar-kun too) is that we talk about just about everything that comes to our minds. I think I've said this once before. Sure we started off our acquaintances as fans of Johnny's and other J-idols but we didn't only talk about it. Then again, if every single time we have a gathering we talk about those idols, we'd probably be rolling on the floor out of boredom. ^^;;; *sigh* So, yeah, it's really fun to be able to talk to them again after such a long time about many, many things.

LET'S HAVE A GATHERING SOON AGAIN!!!

Kar-kun, any chance you're coming to Jakarta soon to join us? *wink*

Well, see, I had a busy weekend. No wonder I was drained after all that and the Olympics (and I'm not even the one who's doing all the runnin LOL!) and couldn't wake up on time for work. ^^;;; Right now I'm going to crash in and just sleep until the morning comes again. I am too tired to do anything else. At least, I've blogged and updated my journals. Everything else will have to wait until I can open my eyes fully again. OK? In that case, ADIOS AMIGOS!!!

Gosh, I'm updating three times in 24 hours!!! ^^ This surely is not a

Gosh, I'm updating three times in 24 hours!!! ^^ This surely is not a boring/annoying day for moi~ <3

OK, so I'll spare the Olympics talk and talk about it in my LJ. I've been talking about it there anyway. :P

*yawn*
I'm sleepy. I guess I'll go to bed now. Or whatever. Just get off the computer (though I think I won't be able to XD). I need to save my energy for tomorrow.

If there's a good thing out of the end of the Olympic Games is that... I will finally be able to sleep properly again. XD Did you know I've been coming late to work because I overslept? This past week, I was ALWAYS late. Yabai~ That's why I'll be glad to be sleeping normally after the Olympics! XD

Off to bed! ^^

(PS. So this entry is basically to wrap up my day... 'cause the previous one seemed to be finished in a rush. Leaves an unsatisfied feeling. LOL!)

On my watch-list:
- Rhythmic gymnastics group all-around final
- Men's Basketball Final ITA - ARG
- Men's Volleyball Final ITA - BRA

Y'all know which country I'm rooting for. ^-^

So last night, I slept really late because I was watching men's basketball between Italy and Lithuania. When Lithuania was only one point behind Italy, 73-74, I switched off the TV and dashed to bed. I couldn't stand to watch it. There was just too much tension for me. XD I wanted them to win so badly. But they won it in the end. I was amazed by the many three-points shots the Italians were doing, esp. from Basile and Galanda. I don't think I've ever seen a basketball game so fun! The commentators were saying both teams were playing a high quality game. And it was indeed a more exciting game than the last one I watched, Argentina vs USA. (Btw, why does USA keep losing their matches?! They're the *DREAM TEAM*, aren't they?!) Italy vs Puerto Rico was a particularly annoying game. Didn't like it, but this one against Lithuania was absolutely fantastic!

... speaking of Italy and Argentina... I do think their teams have met quite a lot in the Athens games. I watched Men's Volleyball Quarterfinal 02 - Match 32 where Italy played against Argentina. Then I watched the Men's Football Semifinal. Then also that tight basketball game they played before during the qualifiers. XD
(But I'm not complaining -- they're both good; and wheee, so many good looking guys! XD)

All right, now that I've bored enough people with my Olympics talk, I'll move on to something more 'normal'. :P

Everyone who's looking for Myojo 10/04, well... not-so-good news for all of ya. =____= The current air shipment is being held off by the authorities at the airport's customs. Friggin' customs! >.< That shipment also contains my October Zappy!!! Must wait until Monday, at least, for it to come. *sigh*

Today, I got Kindai, though. Finally~ it finally came. It felt like ages waiting for it to come! So now, thanks to me, Kino PS will continue to carry Kindai. ^-^ (Hahaha, I'm so vain - but it's true that the JB SPV is hanging on to my words for whatever magazine recommendation I might give :3). And then there's the September FOOL'S MATE that has Daigo "Drop Dead Gorgeous" Stardust in it. ^^ Bought that one too. I also bought KERA (has Daigo in it too) and ROADSHOW (has a lot of HP ppl in it plus Hugh "Absolutely Handsome" Dancy in it). Oh and I also found a copy of that [NEVERLAND] photo book. I put it on reserve but I don't know whether I want to buy it or not. (I suspect I will, though, because... well, it's TSUBASA!)

Oh, and I want to make a layout featuring the ever so adorable feline, French Kitty! French Kitty is so cute! Beyond-words cute. My sis and I love to gush about her whenever we see OUI, OUI WAIKIKI and FRENCH KITTY GOES TO PARIS in the store. We want to start to collect the books and merchandise. I'll definitely buy the books next month. Or ask someone to buy it for me for my birthday!

.... EEE!!! RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS IS STARTING!!!
Going to watch now! More blogging later!

SHOPPING SPREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! *DANCE*
Hahaha, I bought more Women's Secret outfit today.

Spent all my money from last month. (Where is this month's salary?! XD)
I've been wanting to buy those three sets since a long time. Actually the stripey/blue one was my first choice before the floral red one I bought last week but that time in PI they didn't have it in my size, so I had to go to PS to buy it.
Wheee... I LOVE SHOPPING!!!

I told one of my friends about my purchases and she said, "What? You actually wear something when you sleep?!"
XD HAHAHA!!! --> I AM NOT A HOME NUDIST YO!!! UNLIKE *SOME* PEOPLE!!! (Mic, you know who I'm talking about. XD)

ANIMANGA TALK:
Nere, nope, I don't read X. But Chobits I read a little. What I truly love from CLAMP is Magic Knight Rayearth and now, of course, Tsubasa. Fufufu.
Cece, great! I ordered Matantei Loki Ragnarok out of impulse; just because I thought the illustration looked good on the cover of this irasuto book I saw in Kino. But I have a feeling I'm going to love it! ^-^

... I want my XXXHolic ... T_T

BOOK TALK:
Really, Mic?! STARGIRL has already been translated to Indonesian language?! I didn't know that. Wow. Ahhh, never knew you liked the book as well. So it's a big surprise for me! Yeah, Daigo has an interesting taste. So far I've enjoyed every single one of his recommendations that I've had the chance of getting my hands on to. :D

Moving on to another topic altogether... OLYMPICS!

Aww, you didn't actually think I'd forget talking about this, right?

Now it's really getting to me that the Olympic is going to be over in two days. By now, we've reached almost all of the final games. Italy is playing Iraq right now in Men's Football Bronze Medal match.

AND THEY WIN IT!!!

Wahahaha. Just as I was writing the previous paragraph, I heard the whistle blown by the referee and the score remained 1-0 to Italy's advantage!!!
Let's chant again! ... ITALIA, ITALIA, ITALIA!
Bronze for Italy. ^-^

(Although, actually, if Iraq had won it, I suppose it wouldn't be a complete disappointment because they were a completely surprise team to enter the semis and it's usually interesting to see the underdogs win).

At the same time, Italy is playing against Lithuania in the Men's Basketball semifinal. If they win it, they'll have a shot at gold by facing Argentina in the final.
By the way, what is it with the US basketball team?! They play really badly. I mean, so many losses even since the pre-Olympics, and then they nearly lost their chance to enter the semis even. Is the legendary Dream Team starting to make its way to become a myth? It was shocking to see Argentina lead by 13 points, actually. *sigh*

What's up next to watch, I wonder? Rhythmic gymnastics are still on, as well as volleyball. A lot of athletics are still happening as well. Still plenty to watch during the last few days of the Olympics but I miss it already. *sigh*

Oh god, my vision is blurry now. I think I better go to bed or drink something to make myself feel better/fresher. Nightie nights!

GREAT NEWS FOR MOI! ^____^
TODAY I GOT THE ANAN SUKINA OTOKO MOOK!!!!!!!!!!
TAKUYA KIMURA, TSUYOSHI KUSANAGI, HIDEAKI TAKIZAWA, KEN HIRAI, KEN WATANABE, HAYATO ICHIHARA... AND KOSUKE KITAJIMA!!!
THEY'RE ALL IN IT!!!
MUST SCAN, SCAN, SCAN!!!

....... babe-fest indeed. I ♥ Anan.

(But there is no Tsubasa... =____=)

I had absolutely no idea it was going to come... ever! The first time, I saw the ad in one of the Anan issues I was browsing and then I pointed it out to one of the JB staffs, telling her that it would be great if we could order this mook and sell it in our store. I didn't think she would actually tell the SPV to order it. Hahaha. :D Yayness. Thanks, Inge-chan!!! ^-^ So it really came. There were two copies, I think. I took one... dunno who took the other. But no wonder it's gone now... it's YUMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY!!!

Must share this good news with Fi. :D Ahaha. XD She must want the SATOSHI TSUMABUKI scans.

Speaking of which, nope, I haven't made a move for junnosuke-taguchi.com. Lately I've been so tired because of the workload, and every time I come home, all I want to do is sleep or watch the Olympics. Yeah, you know how it goes. I really am not in the mood to get away from the Olympics. XD

I've just ordered some more anime series from her. :D Mwahahahaa. I want Cardcaptor Sakura series and movies, Matantei Loki Ragnarok series, Orphen Revenge series and Gensomaden Saiyuuki movie and ova. Wanted to get the GS Reload as well but I'm waiting for the series to finish. ... I dunno. I'm bored. I'll soon run out of things to watch. 'Cause the Olympics is finishing. I need some anime to keep me occupied.

What more, I've also started buying CLAMP's XXXholic. Hell, I don't know what came over me, suddenly buying CLAMP's series. I think this is all Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles' fault!!! XD Really dangerous for my financial life. I've reserved it along with Rupert Everett's HELLO DARLING ARE YOU WORKING? book.

More on books, I just finished reading Jerry Spinelli's STARGIRL, which is one of Daigo Stardust's favorite reads. ... IT'S EXCELLENT! I highly recommend it to anyone. The story is so touching and it made me cry reading it towards the end. If you think you're a non-conformist, think again. Read STARGIRL and then decide again if you really are a non-conformist or not. Parts of the story, especially when Leo and Stargirl are together, are so WAFFy that it makes me want to hug the book and kiss it and bring it to bed so I can hug it some more. *____* I joined its fanlisting already.Wheeee... very good.

I am following more of Daigo's recommendations. Next up is probably NANA. Daigo can't go wrong. He definitely can't. I've seen too many good stuff coming from him from his Daigo Collection column in Zappy! XD

And Zappy comes in tomorrow today! ^o^

I think I can go to bed now. Maybe make a hot choco to accompany me in bed, as well as bring that Anan mook so I can look at handsome faces before I fall asleep.

Lastly, VIVA ITALIA!!
Complimenti! for the men's basketball team for winning the quarterfinals against Puerto Rico and for the women's water polo team for winning the gold medal in the final against Greece!!!
ITALIA, ITALIA, ITALIA!

Not OK. =_____=
I hate my job.
I hate my life.
I don't feel like talking much.

But the Gymnastics Gala at the Olympics helped me cheer up a bit. It was broadcase when I was still working but my sis recorded it for me. Well worth it. It's one of the most enjoyable events I've seen in the Olympics so far, other than everything from the swimming competitions. ^^ --> I really, really like those two gymnastics trampolinists, Yuri Nikitin from Ukraine and Henrik Stehlik from Germany. They are not only brilliant trampolinists but the friendship that sprung from their competetition on the trampoline is amazing! And Stehlik has the cutest smile ever, even more than Markus Rogan. XD Wahaahah.

Italy just lost from Argentina in football. And now we'll see how Iraq does against Paraguay. It would've been great if Italy had gone to the finals but oh well. In these Olympics, they really rule fencing. :P (By the way, their rhythmic gymnastics team is definitely not bad either!)

On another note, I really haven't started doing any of the necessary scans for my Junno website. XD I am in a bad mood and nothing else seemed able to cheer me up.

Guess I'll continue sulking some more and hopefully tomorrow becomes a better day. Nyah. :3

My daddy's back! ^_^
He got me Jerry Spinelli's STARGIRL and LOSER, although not exactly the covers I wanted (I wanted the hardcovers but oh well), as well as HARRY POTTER & THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN POSTER BOOK. Oh sheesh, he must be wondering why his 21-year-old daughter wanted anything to do with some teen flick's poster book. XD Bwahahaha. But he's nice. He gave it to me without complaint.
No DVDs. He couldn't find ANY of the two DVDs I asked him for. He also couldn't get me the VELVET GOLDMINE CD. This means, I have to turn to Amazon.com to get them. And no Jordi Labanda's HEY DAY either. But I'm ordering it from a local bookstore anyway.
The biggest news is... HE GOT ME MY SCRUNCHED SOCKS AND PREPPY V-NECK SWEATER VEST!!! YAY!!! And he also brought me more bottles of Garnier Fructis shampoo, for supply, since I'm paranoid of running short of it. >.>
Anyway, it's good to have him back. ^-^

Today, my boss told me of a very shocking news. Well, not in a negative way. In fact, I should be jumping in joy right now because of it but I'm still incredulous. LOL.
Wahahaha. I do think he's trying to make me think twice about my resignation. ^^;;; And damn it, IT'S WORKING! LOL.

*gasp*
I just realized I haven't been updating Milk White!
Haven't scanned the pics from Potato and Duet! Not even from September Popolo and Myojo!!! @_@ Oh sheesh. *thud* BAD, BAD WEBMISTRESS!!!
I have to start focusing on the website again.
Been to busy with the Olympics lately. ^^;;;;;

Yah, I think that's all for today. Today's OK. ^-^ Hope tomorrow doesn't suck. @_@

Subject: Lotsa Stuff to Say

I've got a couple of things that I wanted to say to clear my mind off, so here goes...

I've added 2 Daigo Stardust songs in my Starry Starry Yahoo! Briefcase. More samples for everyone's perusal. The songs are:
1. Daigo Stardust - [ANIMAL CREEP]
2. Jzeil - [GET SET GO ROUND]
If you want them, you know how it goes... those of you who already *HAVE* the username and password, just go ahead and access the Briefcase as usual. Those of you who want to listen to more free samples of his songs, but DON'T HAVE the username and password already, can e-mail me at this e-mail address and I'll give you the particulars. Everyone is reminded not to delete the files.
All credit goes to Precious, who kindly gave me the files and let me share them. Thanks~!

Secondly, INDONESIA WON GOLD IN THE OLYMPICS!
Indonesians might have already read about Taufik Hidayat's 15-8, 15-7 win over Korea's Shon Seung Mo in the newspaper, but they might not have witnessed it because the stupid TV networks in this damn country won't broadcast the Olympics. Hah. Okay, whatever, I'll try to get that behind me as to not ruin my raving over Hidayat's win. LOL.
I personally didn't watch the game - because I was too nervous so I watched Gymnastics Trampoline instead - so it's a good thing Kabelvision is re-running the match tonight. ^^ When I found out Taufik won, I SMS-ed a couple of my friends and their initial reactions were, "It's the badminton finals already?" ... HAHAHA! XD And then they all say they envy me for being able to watch the Olympics. I had to set them straight and say, "Hello? People, TAUFIK HIDAYAT WON GOLD AND SONI DWI KUNCORO WON BRONZE FOR OUR COUNTRY AND YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT MY CABLE TV?" And that really did set them straight. XD We all got to talking about the whole medal thingie.
Well, anyway, it's badminton again. It's actually pretty sad that we're not able to add more golds from other sports. Obviously, this just goes to show how pathetic sports in my country is. @_@ But, thankfully, the badminton players still realize that they are the only hope for my country to win ANY medals at all and they did their best. I'm proud of 'em! YAY!

Btw, Olympics swimming is over.
*bawl*
I'm going to miss that one... T_T
Now I'll have to wait for another 4 years 'til I get to see any other swimming events.
Or... is there a chance that one of the channels I have on cable will show any international swimming championships that show Hoogie, Thorpie, Kitajima, Schoeman, Twerpie Phelpsy, etc? Gotta find out.

Today's really quiet. I wanted to call my dad in Singapore. T_T I want to ask him to get me some magazines. He's coming home tomorrow. Yay! Hope he gets me my wishlist items. Hohoho. ^o^

Right. I've out everything out of the system. So now I'll have lunch and take a nap before hanging out with my sister in Citos. ^-^

Btw, Tsubanamae BC Jakarta, gathering postponed 'til next week, right? Lemme know if we're still on or not. Tsubasatile, we haven't told you this, but can you come and join us for gathering next week?

Subject: Hungry but Much Better

I think I'm getting better. My mom gave me another antibiotics today. The last one I took had me throwing up all the food I consumed that day so I was a bit paranoid of having to take another antibiotics. But I survived this one and it works fine, I'm feeling a whole lot better, although my head is still throbbing. I told ppl at the office that I couldn't make it to work today and everybody was like, "Good, it's about time to you take your conditions seriously. Get some rest, and get well soon." Believe it or not, about five people in my office are suffering from similar illness as me. One of them had a bad case of pneumonia! SO SCARY!!! I hope he gets well soon.

This morning, my cat went missing. The golden furred one, Cello. Everybody was looking everywhere for him. I was sleeping when they started looking for him and after a few panicked shouts from my housekeepers, I got absolute distracted from my sleep so I got up but didn't join in the search because I was too sick to go and look for him. Anyway, after an hour, I finally heard one of the housekeepers saying, "There he is!" I went out again to find out where she had found him. Apparently, Cello was sleeping under my sister's table in her room. Normally, after everyone goes to school or work, the housekeepers close the door to our rooms so the cats won't come in and wreck them. But this morning, somehow, Cello must've slipped in before the door was closed so he was inside and nobody realized it. Bad kitty. LOL! ... Hmph, cats!

OK, I'm getting distracted from finishing this entry because of... OLYMPIC SWIMMING. Hahaha, yeah, I'm still at it. It'll be quite sad when all the events wrap up tomorrow. Of course, there would be synchronized swimming, but I still prefer the usual swimming.
Just now in the Olympic Aquatic Center there's the Men's 1500m Freestyle. Of all the swimming events, this one I can't bear to watch. LOL. Because it's so damn long. What, it's like 30 turns in the same pool? The distance is bad enough but to do so many turns in the same place... ^^;;; Man, I don't know how those people do it. (Yes, OK, I know they are professionals and they have practiced a lot but ... phew!) Yesterday, it was yet another US domination in almost all of the events. Three times American swimmers took gold. Aaron Peirsol's victory was dramatic. First he was announced winner, and then just a few minutes after he was disqualified but then he was finally reinstated as winner. Good on him! And I have a new waterboy crush. ;) Markus Rogan, of Austria, silver medallist from the Men's 200m Backstroke, the one who would've won gold if Peirsol hadn't been reinstated. I like his smile. Mwahaha. :D

Wonder if my mom would let me go out tomorrow. I doubt it. =___= I want to go to Kino and see E.K.. Haven't seen him for a while. :\ And I have to talk to Istoyo about my magazines. *sigh* Guess I'll rest now so I'd be allowed to go out tomorrow. Or play with my kitty while watching some more badminton in the Olympics. ^-^ Anyway, I'm outta here!

Subject: Hola, Jordi!

New layout! Anniversary layout! ^-^

Finally I'm using an illustration fo the blog layout, and not a real-life person. I thought I'd try to experiment a bit with illustrations. It's a whole lot more difficult to come up with a layout using an illustration compared to using a real-life person. :/ But I'll practice more and be more creative later. For now, it'll stay simple like this. It's using pop-up again, so don't worry, fanlistings and links are still there. Just click on the two guys' faces to see it. Ne?

And, damn, don't I wish these illustrated guys were real! >.<

Right, now all I have to do is change the tagboard colors and I'm done. I'll be watching the Olympics again afterwards. Swimming again! Men's 50m freestyle!!! A definite must-watch. ... and tomorrow I have been granted a permission to take a sick leave. Because... *cough big time* I AM STILL FRIGGIN' SICK! >.< *bawl*
