>> 2wenty2wo Kisses Before They Go <<
I'm changing my layout, ne~ So this summer-y layout will be replaced by another summer-y one. Tackey & Tsubasa, thanks once again for accompanying me for more than a month! :) See you again soon (esp. Tsubasa, 'cause I have a lot of ideas of you, baby... ^o^).
Later tonight or tomorrow, the new one will be up!

>> A Much Better Day <<
Gyan. I just found out that those who knew that I have a crush on E.K.-kun thinks that I've put up with working overtime lately because he has afternoon shift!!! XD LOL!!! CHIGAU YO~ I STAY BECAUSE I LOVE WRAPPING!!! LOLness.
Today wasn't as sucky as yesterday, probably because I get to met up with Fara and Cecil. ^-^ Soooooo nice to see them. :D ♥♥♥ Cecil's going back next week, so I hope the three of us could meet again before she leaves.
You know what, people just have the BIGGEST MISCONCEPTION about my ethnicity... even my nationality. My colleagues all guess wrongly whenever I ask them what origins they think I am of. And after I tell them the truth, they all go like, "Whaaaaat?! No waaaay!" Yes way. Believe it. @_@ But the funniest things come from the customers. XD
A few days ago there was this Taiwanese tourist who went looking for a Learning Indonesian book in Mandarin language. Since I couldn't speak Chinese, I went to get my colleague who does. A while later, after I brought my colleague to the customer, another customer across the floor called for my assistance. As I walked to that second customer, the Taiwanese tourist stopped me and started to talk to me in Chinese!!! I was like, "Huh?" And then my colleague explained to the tourist that I do not speak Chinese. Later on, after both customers were gone, he told me that the tourist told him that she thought I was Chinese too!!! *gasp* LOL!!!
And just this afternoon, there were two incidents!!! A Korean boy came to me and started to speak to me in Korean. I shook my head and said, "Sorry, I don't speak Korean." He switched to English and said sheepishly, "Oh, sorry. I just spoke to you in my language because I thought you were Korean too. I was thinking, wow, Kino is amazing to have a Korean staff." XD ahahahahahahahahaha.
Only two hours after the boy, there was this Indonesian girl who came to the Japanese section looking for a book as a gift for her Japanese boyfriend. My friend Inge, a JBD staff, asked for my help because she didn't know what titles to suggest to her. I tried to look for the right book for the customer, all the time mumbling in Japanese. Luckily the JB-MDS Asst. Mgr., Masui-san, was there. I called her and asked for her advise. We both discussed the appropriate book to give to the customer in Japanese. After we found the book we gave it to her. Then my friend accompanied her to the cashier to pay. After the girl paid and left, Inge came back to me and said, "You know what that girl said about you?! She said 'those Japanese ladies are very quick and efficient. They seem to understand Indonesian very well too. Have they been here long?' OMG!!! I thought I was going to die from restraining my laughter!" Grrrhhhh... huahahahaahhahaaha... XD
So funny!!!
I told my mom that I should probably consider dying my hair black, have a plastic surgery to make my eyes look bigger and tan myself so my complexion wouldn't be so fair. ^^;;; That's the only way people would believe me that I'm not Chinese/Korean/Japanese/whatever. @_@ Hee.
*yawns* oh frig, why am I so sleepy? I wanted to update Milk White <3 Junnosuke Taguchi. But I think I'll just do it over the weekend. Too tired to do anything now. *sigh*
So I guess this is "buona notte"!
[wednesday14.07.2004 #11.30 p.m.]
>> Dude, Where's My $$$?! <<
Oooooooooookay. This has got to stop.
>_<
I just spent more money on books!!!
Aieeeeeeee... why is it so hard for me to stop buying?!
Is it because:
a. I work in a bookstore; or
b. My obsession for books has reached abnormal limits; or
c. I am a compulsive shopper; or
d. All of the above
I'm supposed to be saving money for... I dunno... for Italy. For Japan. For my own apartment. For charity. For whatever. Ergh.
But I just couldn't resist when I saw Roald Dahl's Matilda, Danny the Champion of the World, and The Complete Adventures of Charlie and Mr. Willy Wonka. >_< (I also took The Roald Dahl Treasury, but I am keeping it for staff purchase discount. ^^;; Those three I mentioned, I paid at the cashier w/o staff discount.) And then there was Michael Moore's Dude Where's my Country? that I've wanted to buy ever since I saw Moore's books in the store. @_@
Heee.
I must stop spending money. I must stop spending money. I MUST STOP SPENDING MONEY!!!
Today I didn't eat since morning. I've eaten only two hours ago, when I got home. No, I'm not anorexic but this morning I had no appetite, and just when I was about to leave for lunch at Kiyadon (I want zaru soba and sashimi... T_T) there was a difficult customer that took about an hour of my time and by the time she left I already lost my appetite again. This afternoon I had some time off but by then I was already magnificently pissed by the whole world in general so the only think I wanted to do was wrap, wrap, wrap, wrap and wrap all those books. When I wrap, I lose track of time and I don't remember anything else but wrapping. I didn't even want to have dinner but my mom made a big fuss about it so I ate something just to keep her quiet. Blah.
TERRY: I told you, I'm OVERWORKED and UNDERPAID. T_T
SHOUJO: Lately, I've been working overtime because of the my new hobby (wrapping! XD) and also now that the boss is on leave there are tons of works @ the office. Hope I can skive off to meet with you guys tomorrow!
MYRI: Che lavoro fai?
I spoke to E.K. today.
Actually, yesterday something happened that made me feel really... "wow". LOL. Yesterday my mom had dinner at the restaurant in front of the bookstore. So I worked overtime while waiting for her. I thought, well, extra time for me to look at E.K. But he wasn't there. I was told he went to survey stationary sections in the other dept. store. At around 8 my mom finished dinner, I finished up and bought Starbucks' Cafe Mocha to go, and we went to the elevator to go down to the 1st floor. I thought that I wasn't going to see E.K. anymore. All of a sudden, when we got to the elevator, there he was!!! E.K. was there! He had just arrived from that little surveying activity that he did with his supervisor and he was fixing his tie in front of the elevator (the elevator had mirror doors ^^;;;). I almost couldn't speak but I didn't want to lose my cool in front of him. So I greeted him and asked where he had been. He told me about the result of the survey. My mom drew my attention then so I couldn't possibly not introduce him to her. So I said, "E.K., please meet my mother. Mom, this is my friend, E.K., stationary staff." They shook hands. He politely mentioned his name and smiled at my mom (don't I just love him?!) I was melting and was ready to hug him for being so sweet but the elevator door opened, very unfortunately, so I had to leave. Argh.
OK, back to today. First occurence happened when he stopped by the customer service counter and asked, "Where's MACBETH (Shakespeare) at?" I said, "OK, I'll show you." I went because I know that place very well since the day before I had just been looking for books there. He followed me, and behind him were the customers who were looking for Macbeth. After the customers got their books, we walked back to the counter together. I remembered that in the morning someone called him but since he was on afternoon shift we told the caller that he was not present. I mentioned this casually to him. He said, "Oh! I know! That's a friend of mine from my old company!" I was like, "I thought you never told anyone about you working here." He said sheepishly, "Well... I had to disclose the fact that I'm working here because of an emergency situation that I had last week." And I said, "You sneaky boy." We laughed. Ahhh, so nice, laughing with him. ^-^
Second one: I worked overtime again (wrapping) and I didn't see him for the whole day. So when I finished up I went to his section and greeted him. He greeted me back. He asked me why I always come home late these days. I just told him that I was addicted to wrapping. He laughed. I waved my hand and went inside to the office to get my bag. But my mom wasn't there yet. Fine. I waited. WHen she finally called, I rushed to the elevator. The quickest way to go there from where I was at the moment was through the stationary section. Naturally, I bumped into him again. I said, "bye bye! see you!" And he was like, "Not gone yet?! I thought you said goodbye to me like 15 minutes ago?" I said, "My car wasn't here yet." Then he grinned mischievously at me and said, "You mean your *mommy* is not here yet?" XD hahahah... okay, he knows. LOL. I stuck out my tongue at him and went into the elevator.
KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! XD
Dang, this is almost not a blog anymore but a private diary. LOLness. XD
I'm going to watch ALONG CAME POLLY.
Oh and I just put a little something something on the right side column. Mwahahahahahahahaha....... XD

Doneeh is back working again and the website now looks much cuter than before with the pink, but just in case, I'm still putting on the Haloscan commenting system.
[EDIT] OK, the shoutbox isn't working at all. It won't take comments. URGH!!! Dammit.[/EDIT]
I'm too tired to write anything else right now. I think I'm going to enjoy the books I just bought. On the meantime, my rants can be found here and here. :3

>> Cynicism <<
You know what happened to me today at work? I had a self-promotion. I'm now not only a secretary and a customer service consultant (oh and plus assistant music director), I'm also a wrapping supervisor. Job description? Wrap those books with plastics so nobody would read carelessly and damage our books. I was actually pretty fast with the promotion, considering that I've only started to get into wrapping a month ago. I'm not that good yet but I'm on my way to become the bestest book-wrapper ever. And I am hella good with coordination of the wrapping system. So I appointed myself wrapping supervisor. Nobody better mess with me. Mwah. :3
XD Jokes aside, I do feel calmest these days when I'm wrapping. Because when I'm wrapping, I feel like I could forget all of my problems at work. I just concentrate on folding those transparent, glass-y plastic bags over some comics or humor books and cut the sellotape on the dispenser and plaster, plaster, plaster. Sometimes, I even take time to ponder on the questions of love, life and career. It's a good inspirational moment when you do some wrapping in the bookstore. It's almost like ... YOGA!
Seriously now. :P

>> Lazy, Lazy <<
Bwahahaha. I can't believe I'm still at home. XD I told a little white lie because I was so lazy to go to work today. :3 But soon, I'll have to leave. I just want to write a little bit in here.
Last night I watched THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, starring Colin Firth and Rupert Everett, until three in the morning so now I'm a bit sleepy. But the film's great and it's worth my sleep anytime! I wrote the review in my livejournal. Feel free to see it if you're a fan of Oscar Wilde, Colin Firth and Rupert Everett. :P
Actually, I forgot to blog about something really important!!!
I bought a KAT-TUN book! ^_^
It's one of those "unofficial" KAT-TUN books. I forgot which title I got. I was too hyper when I received it that I don't remember which one I got. :P LOL. I ordered three but the other two were out of print/out of stock, but it's Ok because this one I got is very recent. It has all about KAT-TUN's rivalry with Kanjani8!
Can't wait to read it! ^-^
Oh, it has no pictures but the comic drawing of the KAT-TUN members are sooooooo cute, especially my Junnobunny! awww... in fact, they're *ALL* cute! *hearts & kisses*
OK, OK, I have to rush now. I've been spending too much time here already. I'll have to work overtime tonight, methinks. >.< Hiks!!! But anyway. Have a good day everyone and work hard and have fun! :D

>> time to move on <<
I'm going to change my layout sometime during the following week or next weekend. Hiks. I hate to say goodbye to Tackey & Tsubasa but there's something about archiving four parts of your entries with the same layout that makes you just feel like moving on. ^^;;; (Truth be told, I have no idea what layout I should use next.) Que sera sera...
NEW KINO IN PLAZA INDONESIA IS OPENED!
It was officially re-opened on Thursday, 8 July 2004, after several long weeks of renovations and reconstructions that caused inconvenience for the customers.
When I first heard that Kino in PI will be reduced, as opposed to Kino PS' expansion, I was really worried because I liked Kino PI more than Kino PS. I thought, "How could they do this to Kino PI?!" (A thought shared by many of my colleagues.) It pained me to see Kino PI in the past two months, being downsized like that, so I was concerned about what the outcome was like.
Now that it's open with the new image, similar to that of the new Jakarta store in PS, I can say that I'm pleased! The new store may be a lot smaller than the old one, but hell... it looks good. ^-^
PI will take customer orders once their computers are back online, and they will handle subscriptions for Japanese and English magazines. Otherwise, they will have some range of English Books while the Japanese books cover titles that are basically hobbies and novels for men, because it has been proven that more Japanese male customers go to PI instead of PS. In fact, more Japanese customers go to PI instead of PS, period.
I took some pictures at the new store yesterday to be reported to my boss, who's on leave, and to SG, although we're not allowed to take pictures in the store at all! I asked Mbak Yayuk's permission and she said it was OK because it was for report anyway and not for anything else. I wish I could share those pics here but I can't. So those who live in Jakarta, please visit the new Kino PI to see for yourself. ^-^
Well, OK, I didn't go there yesterday just to take pictures and see the new store. I wanted to annoy Emil and get my Japanese magazines. XD Bwahahahaa. And I did! I did annoy Emil. I came and said, "Emil, where's my WU-POTATO-DUET?!" And he was groaning. Then he teased me, "They're not here yet!" I said, "Oh come on. No need to tease me. I know. Dienda told me that the invoice came yesterday, DUH!" And I ushered him to the back office so he'd get me my magazines. I stayed on with him until he picked up those magazines for me. WAHAHAH! XD
Yayness! So I got my magazines! ^_^
KYAAAAAAAAA!!! JUNNO SO SMART!!! Junno 'produced' Jin's look for this volume of KAT-TUN Disc and hell....... JIN IS SEXIER THAN EVER!!! I guess it's Junno's way of saying "thank you" to Jin for the time Jin produced Junno's looks. (I haven't read the article but there could be something mentioned about it in there - not sure.) And the group pics... lovely. Junno's with Ueda, but he and Maru looked pretty genki together. I think I finally caught the Maru bug (after last night's Shokura, especially, but that's another story, ne~). Hee hee.
I haven't seen the other two, but I did see Shokura last night... JUNNO CUT HIS HAIR!!! Oooooh, he looks different. He looks more mature with short hair. I love it! (OK, basically, what is it that I don't love from Junno?!) But I am all for this hairstyle. I don't care what everyone else says, I LOVE HIS HAIR!!! And for once... Junno's hair is shorter than mine! XD Bwahahaha. <3<3<3<3<3
I'm going to have a Junnosuke Taguchi-overdose this weekend. Milk White, here I come (again)!!!
By the way, last night on Shokura, the guest was Tsubasa. Call me daft, call me nerd, call me ignorant... but I had no idea that Tsubasa was going to be guest!!! And much to my delight he joined that guessing game, atattepon... or something. And the panel was made up of my faves: JUNNO, FUMITO and JIMMY! And then there was TSUBASA!!! It was like getting all of your favorite dessert in one place! HOW ENTICING.
I was laughing all over the place when Tsubasa did the skit for Option C. XD He was supposedly taking pictures of TAKKI! XD And with comments, too... the "KAWAII" part just had me rolling on the floor!!! IF ONLY IT WERE TRUE!!! No, in fact, I AM SURE IT IS TRUE BUT HE JUST WON'T ADMIT IT OPENLY!!! Bwahaha. And I was once again reminded of my tsubAMI identity when I saw that skit. I was thinking, "Like brother, like sister." That scene was something that tsubAMI, Tsubasa's sister, would have done to him. It turns out that he is doing it as well to Takki. :D
Oh and, can I just say something? TSUBASA'S HAIR ROCKS!!! I didn't know his hair became dark-ish brown (black??) like that. :o I was surprised! Coincidentally, I've been thinking of blackening my hair! I decided I'm bored being a blonde/redhead, so I want to dye my hair black. I was hesitant, of course, because when I mentioned the idea to my friends, they were like, "Haaaaaa?! NO!!! DON'T!!!" >.< But now that I'm seeing Tsubasa's dark hair, I feel like I have to change it. After all, he is my fashion God.
About Tsubasa's performance... urgh. Could someone just get Yabu out of the way? No offense, but seeing Tsubasa Imai in the middle of his performance, and then getting cut to make way for Kota Yabu is not exactly my idea of an applause-worthy performance. :-S But, still, nothing can ruin my Tsubasa moment. Especially when i saw him doing a familiar gesture in which he rolled his hips. You have to be familiar with his dance moves to be able to notice the gesture. I spotted it and I drooled. And then, there was that part where he held a conductor's stick. Aieeeee! SEXXXY with a capital X. If music conductors in this world look like him, move like him and conduct like him, I would dedicate my life to going to classical concerts and operas. Nyah. :3
Doneeh seems to be alive, although I don't know how quick its recovery can be. My Shoutbox in junnosuke-taguchi.com is up again but the recent tag entries are gone. @_@ I am still sticking to HS commentary and TB tagboard systems for now until Doneeh comes back again. (I seriously have no idea what is the matter with them!)
I'm going back to bed now. And continue my dream of Junnosuke and Tsubasa. Zzzzzzz.
