OK, part of this entry is going to about work rant, so those who don't feel like reading it, scroll down and find the part that begins with "I WATCHED SPIDERMAN 2 ON TUESDAY ... FINALLY!".

[RANT] I so don't friggin' understand those customers I've been dealing with in the past couple of days. I don't know if they're stupid, have never been taught logical thinking, or just plain arrogant, but whatever it is, they piss the hell out of me. I was put in CS Dept. because, well, I *am* a customer. I am supposed to know what customers want. Unfortunately, it turns out that I don't know what they want, because what they want is stupid, and I never want anything that is stupid.
For example, there was this one man who wanted to exchange a transparent blue binder that he had bought for a green one. He came to our store, made a claim and *demanded* that we accept it. He didn't bring his receipt, he bought it two weeks before and he didn't ask nicely. Logically, does any of that make sense? First of all, he should've brought his receipt. Secondly, who on earth buys a green binder and then would want to exchange it for another color because he thought the other color was nicer two weeks after purchase? Is he *that* indecisive that he needed two fakking weeks to decide that the green one was nicer? The hell with you, freak! I told him, "I'm very sorry sir, but we cannot accept your claim because there was no product defect from the supplier and you didn't bring your receipt." He said, "This bookstore has a very bad service." I said, "I apologize if we give you that impression but a rule is a rule, and if you do not have a receipt then you cannot make a claim. Have a nice day. Please shop with us again." I smiled like an angel and then bowed to him. HAH. Don't mess with me, man...
And there was this Korean woman... she wanted REFUND!!! She bought two books, one priced Rp 80.000,- and the other Rp 149.000,- She was entitled to one discount voucher for the next purchase because she shopped above Rp 200.000,-. The cashier gave her the receipt, but then she said, "I don't want this Rp 149.000,- book. I want to return it, and you give me back my money." The cashier said, "Fine. But I must take your voucher, ma'am because then you'd have only paid Rp 80.000,- and unless you shop at the minimum Rp 200.000,- you are not entitled to a voucher." The lady started fuming saying that the voucher was rightfully hers and she demanded refund because she bought the Rp 149.000,- book was only to get the voucher! (Oh, how stupid is that?!) A supervisor heard it and said that REFUND IS NOT AVAILABLE AT ALL IN OUR STORE. She still insisted. I was called. I only needed to hear the word "refund" and then I told her, "no, ma'am, our store does not do refunds. We can let you exchange the book here and now but no refunds." Then she said that Kinokuniya never gives her money back. HELLO?!?!?!?!?!?! You bought the damn book, so you pay for it... why the hell did you pay in the first place if you didn't want it?! BRAIN CHECK?! INSANITY CHECK?! Her daughter was so embarrassed and she just squirmed every time her mom started acting up. In the end, after I said "NO!" for the final time, she left still ranting and rambling. The daughter kept apologizing to me for her mom's behavior. Finally I gave her the shopping bag, with a smile, and said, "Kamsa hamnida." The daughter gasped, "You understand Korean?" I bluffed, "Yes, just a bit." And she gasped, ran for her mother and said, "Mom, stop talking! She undersands Korean! You shouldn't have said those things about her!!!!" XD hwahahahahahaha... take that, madwoman!
Another annoying customer... he demanded a 20% discount from us because he said Kino SG always gives him 20% when he shops there (he's Indonesian). He said, "How come you won't give me a discount?! Your franchisor gave me a 20% percent discount!" I calmly answered, "Oh really, sir? Wow, I never knew that. I've shopped in Kino in SG so many times and they never give me discounts." Then he hesitated and asked with a rather incredulous tone, "You've been to Singapore?" (Why, you, arrogant S.O.B!!!) I said innocently, "Yes, sir, many times. Kino SG is my favorite store. That's why I always go there whenever I happen to visit the country." He squirmed and said, "Oh, that's right... I like shopping there too. Erm, OK, I'll just pay for these books. Thanks for your help anyway." WHY, YOU ASS!!! Do you think any of us staff never went abroad?! EXCUSE ME!!! We're not dumb, yeah. Maybe you have money, but we have more brains than you do.

I absolutely have no problem taking in critics or suggestions from customers. But for cases like these, sometimes you just have to whup their asses. Just because they think they have all the money in the world to shop in Kinokuniya, it doesn't mean that they're all high and mighty and can abuse us. I'm absolutely amazed. As a customer myself, I've never treated Kino and its staff members in *that* way. Sure, I was a pretty demanding customer as well, but I don't ask them to bend company policies just to please me. I never cheat on them... ever!!! Duh. SOmetimes, you just wonder, do people have brains?! [/RANT]

I WATCHED SPIDERMAN 2 ON TUESDAY ... FINALLY!
It was a great film. Some scenes were silly and pointless but the film is much better than the 1st and I would love to watch it again. The action and the drama are well-proportioned. The sense of humor inserted in several scenes is very appropriate. Tobey Maguire is HOT! Peter Parker is dorky and goofy but I love him all the more for that, and Spiderman is much cooler than he can ever be. I like the villain, Dr. Ock, because he's freakingly creepy. 8.5 out of 10 for me.
I watched with Fi, who then came to my house to work on a transcription assignment. She used my video player while I bummed around. XD LOL. She stayed overnight. There were some really silly moments that we shared. Really funny. That day, I remember, other than feeling really bloated and sleepy and satisfied with the film, we were both really silly and laughing a lot. XD

On that day, as well, I bought this book, which I've already mentioned before, called MEN IN SKIRT. Amazing book. I really would love to give this book to Tsubasa. It's a fashionista's must-have. Seriously.

Ahhhh, I wish everyday could be like that, but nooo~

My life this week went down the drain since Wednesday. I hated life on Wednesday, esp. because I found out that E.K.-kun was going back to his hometown, which meant that I wouldn't be able to see him today. >.< And there were so many problems regarding customer service that arose, and I am so burdened with it all. Today, I also felt a lot of burden. I hate work. I wanted to quit (well, not really). But anyway... :-S

Let's just go to sleep now. >.<

I went to the cinema to watch SPIDERMAN 2, but all the seats were taken - EVEN THOSE FOR THE NEXT TWO SHOWTIMES!!! Freak, how early should one get to be able to secure a place in the damn studio?!?!?!?! Urgh. This is the second time that I went with the intention to watch that film and the second time also that I failed to watch it!!! FRIGGIN' CINEMA. *pouts* Why, damn it?!
Tomorrow morning, I'm going back there and buy me some tickets... those ppl better NOT GET IN MY WAY or else...

Of course, I will watch the movie after I make a brief visit to my desk at the office. I was called by Kino and they were telling me to make a friggin' letter tomorrow on my day off. Seriously, people, can't you make your own letters?! @_@ I wonder if people over there really have brains. And why do they all object to me having a day off?! I WAS FRIGGIN' MC FOR THREE DAYS IN A ROW WORKING OVERTIME TO ANNOUNCE SOME STUPID-ASS SHOWS UNTIL LATE AT NIGHT AND I CAN'T HAVE A FRIGGIN' DAY OFF JUST BECAUSE THEY NEED ME TO WRITE A FRIGGIN' LETTER?! ............................................................... (Oh dear, I feel like cussing all over the place now... @_@) CHE CAZZOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

OK, just needed to get that out of my system. ^^;;

Back to Spiderman... OK, 'cause I couldn't watch the film today, so I went to L'Occitane and met up with a friend who worked there. She's actually a friend of Mas Satrio from Kino PI and I accidentally met her in the Book Fair last week. She was surprised to know that I worked in Kino, while she knew me before because I was a customer of L'Occitane! XD Anyway, after I talked to her for about an hour, I went shopping. :D That was the only way, the ultimate way, I could be genki again! So I went to Planet Surf and bought... these!!!

<3 I've been looking for a backpack... I saw this Roxy one and fell in love immediately. And then there was this sale on Billabong products and there was this T-shirt... argh, couldn't help myself. ^-^ I was tempted to buy a beanie hat (Tsubasa influence again, yep!) but I had no more money left... T_T Hiks. Anyway. ;) Happy, happy. If I ever have to go to the office tomorrow, I'm going to wear the T-shirt and the bag. ^_^ Showing off, showing off...

Speaking of things I bought, I forgot to mention that last week I bought a set of postcards, illustrated and designed by Japanese contemporary graphic designer Takashi Murakami. I didn't realize he was famous but when I saw the set of postcards, I fell in love.

Really wicked... love the colors and the surreal images. I love collecting these kinds of things because they're very inspirational and make me want to draw and create... I really, really wish I could study graphic and web design. >.<

Actually I took pictures of myself. really hazukashii but I had nothing better to do. I haven't uploaded them though. Maybe tomorrow, after I come back from watching Spiderman 2 (Tooooooobeeeeeyyy...... ♥♥♥). :3 Fufufu. Maybe I'll now play around some more with the cameras. Oh yeah. ^o^ My narcissistic self comes out after I have just a bout of Daigoness... XD

DAIGO!!! I just have to say this: I preordered his new single! DAISY/SUMMER ROSE, if I'm not mistaken. ♥♥♥♥♥ I saw the (possible) cover of the single and daaaaaamn, he's wearing something pink-ish! Lovely. I am eagerly anticipating. Which also reminds me, I haven't posted up my ROCK THE PLANET review. XD Bwahahaha. Shoot me, shoot me. Ahh, Daigo luv... he has come a long way since MARIA. I have just exercised my right as a citizen and then expressed my political views on the elections in Indonesia. This is probably the first and only time I ever care so much about a friggin' election. I'm prepared to be disappointed and disillusioned but hey, I already voted for the guy of my choice. May ~~the best person win~~ *HE*, DA MAN, win. ^-^

As for the rest of the day, I'm going to try and drag someone - ANYONE - to watch Spiderman 2 with me. It's not like I care about Spiderman, but Tobey Maguire is looking like my two fave actors from fantasy films (i.e. Lij and Dan), so I just have to see him and compare his physicalities with those two h-h-hooottt actors. And I need to do some research if I'm going to make a fic that includes all three guys. :3 Ne?

For now, I'm just going back to bed...

Actually, right now, I'm not in the mood to write a lot, especially because I'm still wearing my make-up and outfit from today's outing with Dienda-senpai and Mas Hengky. We went to Plaza Semanggi and watched SHREK 2 (my second time). The film is still as funny as the first!!! XD Hilarious... "Pray for mercy from, Puss in boots!" <3 <3 <3 And unexpectedly I found this really cute T-shirt. :D I bought it for just Rp 20.000,- Very good bargain! ^-^ Love it. Gonna wear it soon, probably on Tuesday when I go CD hunting with Dienda-senpai!
So yeah, I'm friggin' tired and my make-up feels icky now. The bracelets are still dangling on my wrist... and my feet feel sore. Argh. I hate the aftermath of going out. My body needs some rest! T_T

Btw, Ters, thanks for sending me prepre 04 again. I haven't read it but I'll do so soon. ^-^ Yayness. More prepre. So productive. And me, stupid me... forgot to bring mine home so I could send to you. Blargh.

And RINNA, if you ever decide to come to Indonesia, you should let me know and I can probably be your guide. ;) Oh and, Italy is definitely not a bad choice! If I could, I'd fly myself off to Italy right now! I love that country~ <3 Hee hee. f course, I wouldn't mind going to France either. I must go to France one day! Ahhh, holidays~ how lovely if you can get them... T_T Hiks, hiks, I still have work to do at the office so no holidays for me this year.

There's this rumor that Tsubasa is going to have his own solo con. Oh freak, I just hope it's TRUE and NOT A SCAM. The thing is that, sometimes Johnny's gives us hopes and then they sort of crush it to the ground by canceling whatever it is that is making us really excited. So I'm praying real hard that it's true!
Of course, having said that, there's no way I'll be able to go anyways. Frankly, I don't think I can leave my job and my parents would go berserk if I ask them for money to go to Japan. *sob* T_T All I can do is hope and wish everybody else, all the Tsuba fans around the world can go there to scream on him!!!

Moving on to Daigo, I just bought June's Zappy and there's the monthly Daigo Collection column in which he shows his various favorite items. In the May edition, he said one of his fave books is Jerry Spinelli's STAR GIRL, which I'm going to buy very soon, because I've read his other book LOSER and it's great. In this edition, however, he talks about his favorite manga... and it's NANA! Ooooooh, coincidentally, a few days ago I passed by the manga section and saw NANA and was thinking, "Hey, this is pretty cool. I should start collecting it!" And then I saw the article and I was thinking, "Whoa! This is psychic connection between me and Daigo!" LOL. XD Nah, I'm just kidding, but seriously... it's amazing. So yeah, now that Daigo is recommending it, I'm definitely going to start reading NANA. ^o^

OK, I better stop. I need to get some rest. Tomorrow must wake up early.

Anyway. Today I met up with Cecil in Plaza Senayan. Talked. She's still the same. Nyahaha. Have to get together with the others again soon. Too bad there wasn't much we could do because... for God's sake, I'm on holiday and only wanted to get some magazines but people just have to throw s#!t on me!!!. (More on this on my Livejournal...) Basically, the people at work just decided that since my boss isn't around his secretary has to try to solve all their problems. @_@ OK, this never happens before. Whenever I come there to get magazines/books on Saturdays, I've never: 1. Been asked to write an internal memo, 2. Had to worry about the lack vouchers, 3. Been asked whether it was OK for this reporter to take pics of the photo w/ written permission, 4. Been treated like total crap by the cashier. @______@ DO YOUR OWN JOBS, MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS, PPL!!! I'M ON MY FRIGGIN' HOLIDAY!
So, if those things didn't happen today, my time with Cecil would've been more enjoyable. Next time, let's skip Kino and just go to Starbucks on the 1st floor. @_@

Fufufu... this is what I did today. Nyahaha. Painted my nails. ^-^ Black *hearts* The manicurist was like, "Are you sure you want to do it with a black base color?" I was like, "GO FOR IT!!!" My mom said I'm turning girly - she thinks I've been reading too much fashion magazines lately - but she did admit that they look cool. Next time I'm going to do it in blue. Mwahahahaha. XD I'm loving nail art. I just bought Ari Arakawa's nail art book. She does Fukakyon and Miho Tanaka's nails. So cool. I'm getting a lot of nail art ideas from that book and my friend Inge - the JB staff - said that that book is one of the best sellers in the beauty and make-up book category.
And yes, this is one of the Tsubasa Imai influences on myself. If he does it, I will eventually do it too. ^-^ Manicures, manicures... thank you, Tsubasa-sama, you've made me a girl out of me. <3

JOHNNY'S RANT!!!
I seriously don't understand why Iida, Yokoo and Takeuchi of the former K.K.KITY aren't exposed. (Wait, is Takeuchi still in Johnny's Jr.? @_@) Anyway. They're much better looking than Kato, Koyama and... ergh, Kusano. Really sorry to Kusano fans, but he's been getting up on my nerves lately. It's up to the point where I refuse to pay attention to him anymore. Kato, still OK. He's cute. Koyama, not bad. But Kusano... NO NO. And that's why if I have to choose someone from this former unit, I'd pick up none of those three who are in the "SGR" now, but I'd pick Takeuchi!!! He really was the cutest. ^-^
Well, OK, I'm judging them purely on the physical level (Takeuchi is SO my type) but I have no idea why the other three more famous ones get to be exploited... are they *that* special?

These days I'm really tried and stressed out from work.
June 29th was the start of Kinokuniya Book Fair in Plaza Senayan's atrium. I was asked to MC. So I did. More like announcer, though. Pretty much the same as Matsuri last year, except that I didn't have to embarrass myself by dancing in front of everyone. I'm supposed to get paid by getting a day off but the boss is going on leave so I *have* to come in tomorrow to receive "job handover". T_T Frig.
Today was the closing of the fair. It was just a three-day event. But things get really frustrating. I'm just going to be bold here and say that the Plaza Senayan management team is crappier than the worst crap in the world. They offered us space and we've proposed our layout and they had fakking approved it. But then they get sooooooooooo bitchy about the actual result of the layout and they kept asking us to change! And they were not some LAST MINUTE CHANGES... it was more like "OVER MINUTES" changes as they asked us to change after the fair had begun. I don't know if they're stupid or idiotic or just plain bitchy... @_@
OK, so that's that. The fair itself was OK. I suppose. I do think we could have done better if PS management team didn't have to be so anal about everything. But let it go lah... it's over anyway.

My dad will come back from Aussie tomorrow evening.
My sis went away to the Philippines.
House is empty right now. Just me and my mom. I don't even see her! I'm working late hours... @_@ I also didn't see much of my sis prior to the departure. But oh well...

I bought Michael Moore's book, STUPID WHITE MEN. Tempted, after seeing his film. There was also the other title, DUDE, WHERE'S MY COUNTRY? or something like that. Nyahahahaha. XD I bought it using Kino's 10% promotional voucher, not staff purchase discount 'cause I figured it's much, much faster doing it that way. Besides, I've got like three vouchers to waste. XD Mwahahaha. I'll start reading this weekend.

And OMG... July is here!!! I can't believe it's been a month since the last time I was freaking about not having a new layout. But frankly, I don't think I'm going to change my layout just because this has been here for about three weeks. No rush. I'm just going to enjoy my time with Takitsuba. ^-^ Yep, with my Aniki and his luvver boy. <3 *hearts* Besides, I do think I need this bright layout to cheer me up.

Lastly, I'd just like to complain about Paris Hilton. WTF IS SHE DOING IN EVERY SINGLE PAGE OF ViVi?! I'm so freaking bored seeing her there. @_@ I mean, duh... seriously, I'm not a big fan of Seri or the other ViVi models either but, hello???????????? Paris in every single page?! You've gotta be kidding me. I'm burning my current issue of ViVi. I'm going to get JJ instead. T_T Blah.
