Guess what I did today! ^o^ I ordered Kindai... XD My senpai allowed me to look at the Japanese magazine and mook listings and then I found Kindai on the list, and asked the JB supervisor to order it for me. Yayness. Wanted to get WO as well but maybe not now. :-S
Bought yet another animanga book thingie plus a photo book. Sssshhh... don't tell anyone I'm spending more money! XD

I'm so dead tired. I haven't had enough sleep. Doneeh is down (making me pissed). So I should just go to bed. Blah.

I went to watch HARRY POTTER & THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN again. Ooooh, Phelps twins, hot as ever. (I shall be referring to them as JOP, as in James-Oliver Phelps, from now on, just like all their fans do. Although I'm not interested to join their fandom at all, considering that I'm too old for their fandom. XD) It's as good as the first time I watched it. Why is it like, the third film is always the best? ^^;;

Before I went to the cinema I met up with Fi first. Went to Tori-Q and Pisa, to talk about things, this and that... made an appointment to go watch SHREK 2 together. :) It was fuuuuuuunnnn.

After film, while waiting for mom to pick us up, my sis and I went to a surf shop and bought:
Shocking isn't it? XD I'm buying stuff like this... @_@ I do need sandals. I wanted to get a black one. But my sis thinks I'm boring lately, wearing mostly basic colors like black, white and beige (well don't blame me! I work in a company now. @_@) so she forbade me to buy something in the same color as the clothes I wear to work. Instead, I settled on this one. Anyway, that shop is purely evil. Saw a very cute Rip Curl address book that looks like an organizer journal.. >.< Mwah!!! I REALLY WANTED TO BUY THAT ONE! But I don't have any money left... :-S (I bought too much books/magazines these days. ^^;;;) Maybe next month, if it's still there.

The operator in Sogo PS is so stupid. She was ruining my J-pop music program. >_< I was in the middle of playing SMAP's "Fly" when she suddenly cut it off with an announcement. But after that she didn't return our sound line to our own and instead made it joined with Sogo's. BLAH! And people were complaining to me, "Yo! What happened to your J-pop CD?" Screw the operator.

Anyway. As you can tell, I went to Kino again. First PI then PS.
But first, I'd just like to let everyone know (if anyone bothers to read this anyway): KINO PI IS STILL OPEN.
Even though from the exterior it looks like they're closed due to renovations, it's still there. And idol lovers should be happy to learn that now they have more Wink Up, Potato, Duet, Myojo and Popolo for display (in fact, new Kino PS still hasn't stocked WU and Duet!!!!). So y'all can buy them there without having to get into a fight every month. @_@
On the other hand, if you go there and see that the whole place looks empty it's not because they've run out books or had their shelves stolen... the shelves are being touched up so the books are stored elsewhere. Just ask for assistance if you want to see which books you need.
On another note, subscribers, in and/or out of Jakarta, please be patient with your subcriptions. The staff members are really overwhelmed with the amount of work they have to do during the renovation period... and there's not enough staff members there. So, if you don't get your subscribed or ordered items soon, just be patient until they call you.

I didn't stay long at PI because all the incoming Japanese magazines have been barcoded so I don't have anything else to do. Besides, Tina called me and said she was at PS and I wanted to see her so I went there right away.
Hung out with Tina and her friends for a while. I gossiped with her about Kino.LOL. Then I bought some stuff... again.
IT'S SO CONVENIENT NOW THAT THERE'S AN EXTENSIVE CHINESE SECTION THERE! ^_^ I bought Chinese WU July '04 issue. Got Junno's interview. And then grabbed Anan and Weekly Television as well and the Fruits Basket photobook. Used my 10% discount voucher. Will use the next one I got for the Jordi Labanda bag that I'm coveting. ^o^ So nice ne to have a bookstore that big... XD
Anyway, at 6 I went home... :|

SHOKURA WAS ON TONIGHT AND I GOT TO SEE JUNNO AGAIN! But he only appeared for a short while. T_T I want to see more of him. And damn NHK, the baseball game between Hanshin Tigers and Yomiuri Giants was really looooong so Shokura was late for about one and a half hours. Argh. Anyway, never mind. As long as I got to see Junno. Isn't he cute and cuddly? I couldn't get over the fact that when his name was announced, everyone shrieked. And he was announced last again... so it's like A BIG COMEBACK! And he's standing next to Jin again. :D
Btw, I like KAT-TUN's version of SMAP's LION HEART. I think I like all the KAT-TUN renditions of SMAP's songs. Like when Jin sang Shingo Katori's English-language song (forgot the title! Stupid me! >.<)... it was good (even though Jin's English is so not. @_@) And that time when they sang SEKAI NO HITOTSU DAKE NO HANA at the Countdown con. That was also great. Should I request for them to be put under the same management as SMAP? XD hahaha...
Anyway, I hope this thing about Junno missing from their performances is not because he's being slighted or anything... but because his knee hasn't fully recovered and he wasn't allowed to perform yet. It's starting to kill me again that he's come back but couldn't peform with the group!!! JUNNO, MAKE A PROPER COME BACK, WILL YA!!!

I'm so happy and touched because she sent me lots and lots of Tsubasa stuff from the old days... y'all know how I used to diss Tsubasa. @_@ Then karma hit me and I became one of his slaves, and I regret not having anything of Tsubasa from those days where I used to diss him. >_< BUT NOW THERE IS NO MORE REGRET BECAUSE NOW I HAVE THEM! ^_^ Thanks to my sweet Elan!!!
(Actually, I should've been able to get this package last month but due to some misunderstanding from my housekeeper's part, and also my mom's, I didn't receive the package until now. @_@ Blah. I want to get my own PO BOX.)

So yes, I'm happy. This week has been crappy for me. So it's justified that I have a great weekend. (It's like that; whenever I have crappy weekdays, the weekend is always good, and vice versa). But these days, with work and all, weekdays have always been crappy so it's good that weekends are always great. Meeow.

I think I can differentiate James from Oliver... from the hairstyle but I'm not 100% sure. :-S You know what, I think in the second picture, James is the one on the right. And that makes the one on the left... Oliver. Ne? @_@ Dunno lah...

I think they and Rupert Grint are *SO* perfectly cast... they really do look alike. ^^;; And their "vintage"-y style is cool. I'm glad they made F&G and Ron in HP look like that. Seriously, Daniel and Rupert are getting more and more handsome too but it was the Phelps twins that really stole my heart in this latest instalment. I don't know how popular they are among the HP fans but they sure are hot. I do notice that the people who were disappointed to not see Sean Biggerstaff (Oliver Wood) in the 3rd film are really, really happy to see that the Weasley twins looking like this. Nyahahaha.
....... mmmmmmmmhhhhhh... MUST. HOLD. BACK. I don't want to squeal like an adolescent... >_< But... can't help it...

On another note, I successfully played my J-POP MUSIC PROGRAM which consisted of those CDs I mentioned below (Arashi, Skoop on Somebody, SMAP and Chobits songs). Tomorrow I'm going to change the Chobits songs to Mai Kuraki's. And believe it or not, there were many POSITIVE feedbacks for Kang Ta's album!!! Wah. :D Hahahahahaha...

I'm crazy. I'm still bored. I still can't sleep. I hate my life even more.
But I decided not to be random tonight. Instead, I'm trying to be productive. So I scanned some Daigo Stardust pics and posted them up at Daigo Stardust LJ Community. They're from Arena May 2004. And then I opened my e-mail that I use for work and start replying those mails from the customers who asked for books from us. Mwah. (It's so nice to open e-mails from home... in the office, the connection is soooooo slow, because the networking is very heavy - many comps are sharing the network connection - therefore the I'net is slooow.) So, yeah, just trying to do my work...

And now I'm trying to compile some songs for the playlist in the office. One of my unofficial titles in the company is "assistant music director". LOL. What I do here is helping Mas Hengky in selecting the music to be played in the office. We've been playing our private collection CDs for the store. @_@ Actually, SIMS wanted us to use Vivaldi's "Primavera" for the store's opening hour, after greeting. SIMS have also given us a recommended playlist. We've tried them out but... @_@ We got a lot of complaints from people when we play that playlist. People are saying that the music is too mellow and too haunting (think Kitaro, Chris Spheeris and Govi @_@). So in the end we're making up our own playlist.
Speaking of which, Mas Hengky has got this superb collection of CDs. Jazz, lounge, pop, rock, you name it!!! And he's got a loooot of French CDs. T___T *envy* There's this one compilation CD called "The Living Room" and it's so good I want to steal it! XD And of course, there's that Dimitri de Paris CD that I also wanted to steal from him! They're amazing.
Mwahahaha I think in terms of music, he and I get along really well (although I still think he's more often than not very annoying).

Anyway, back to the my job as asst. music director... I'm providing him with the appropriate Japanese CDs that could be played in the store. SIMS recommended Ryuichi Sakamoto but ergh, we're getting complaints as well about that CD. >_< So, the Japanese CDs we've been playing are my albums of Ken Hirai's "Ken's Bar", The Gospellers' "Dressed Up to the Nines", Skoop on Somebody's "Save our Souls and Yoshida Brothers' "Soulful" (the one Feli gave me).
Of course after a while, these CDs get boring and Mas Hengky told me to contribute something else to the playlist. So this is why I'm up right now, trying to get sleepy by choosing other J-pop CDs. So far I've come up with:
- ARASHI - "Tomadoinagara" single
- SKOOP ON SOMEBODY - "Sha La La" single
- SMAP - "Fly" single
- SPEED - "Bridge" album (only the first four songs)
- CHOBITS anime songs that I compiled on my own
Why did I pick them? Because they're jazz-y and mellow-y. Mwahaha. I'm going to borrow Fi's Orange Pekoe CDs to add into the playlist. ^-^ Kang Ta's albums are already in the list. Nyah. XD

Hmm, this reminds me... I'm planning to get some Thievery Corporation and AIR's CDs too. @_@ Fuuuuh... I saw them in one of the other bookstores over here and wanted to buy them right away but I don't have money. (Btw, Rinna, I forgot to mention that I also like the duo AIR. They're from France too, aren't they?) Once I got them, they are sure going to be in the playlist. *evil grin*

*yawn* OK, I'm sleepy now. So I'll shove these CDs away and get some sleep. ^^;; Jya!

I'm bored. I can't sleep. I hate my life.
So I decided to be random and took pictures of my purchases in Kino in the past three weeks, since the new store opened.

Can you believe that I bought this many and spent that much on these stuff in three weeks' time?! And this is not all. I still bought some stationery items, other magazines, etc. @_@ Mwah. No wonder I'm bankrupt.

And I haven't read any of them. ^^;;; OK, so I flipped through Zappy and Wink Up but for the rest... ^^;;; I need another day off so I can read all of them. Heee....................

Working in a bookstore is really dangerous.

I'm stressing about work again. I'm really hating the place right now. I don't hate the bookstore, I just hate the office. LOL. ^^;;; Maybe it's me, though. -__-;; *sigh* And this is why I haven't been writing in my bloggie for two days. :P (That, and also a small bout of lovesickness... again).

You know what, I'm in deep financial shit. I have no money. XD I've just bought five books today and even with the 20% percent staff purchase discount, I find my wallet is considerably thinner. And I couldn't resist buying two more magazines so it's even worse than the previous condition it's in! I think I have to put a whole load of self-restraint on myself so that I won't be bankrupt before I even have the chance to be rich. (Hah, let's see how far and how long I can hold myself back - if the new Chinese Wink Up is on the shelf, I daresay I'm going to splurge again. XD)

OH! Today at the store there was this Japanese girl. I think she's an exchange student and goes to an international school. Her name is Rumi or something. Actually she's pretty sweet. She came to the store with a companion, an adult lady who looks old enough to be her aunt (this girl herself looks about 15 or so). The lady was asking her which magazines she liked to buy in Japan. Then she pointed out several... like JJ Bis, Nonno, Cutie and so on. At one point she grabbed a copy of Myojo that had Yabu Kota & Co. on the cover and squealed. She told the lady, "Ne, ne! Look... these are the cutest boys in Japan! They're really cute!!!" The lady wrinkled her nose and asked skeptically, "How old are they? They look really young..." And this girl said, "Yes they're young but no one cares because they're cute!" XD (Mwahaha, that's Johnny's for you, eh?) I wanted to laugh then and there and say hi to this girl, but then her friends came. They were two boys, about 16 or 17, and they had pierced nose and ears, blue hair and really, really weird clothes. @_@ OK, so I could care less about their appearance but those two boys were soooooooo loud! >.< They were like, "RUMI, RUMI!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE! HEY, WANNA SEE MY NEW PIERCING?! WHAT DO YOU THINK?! IS IT GOOD OR WHAT?!" And then Rumi started to speak in loud voice and shriek uncontrollably at the boys' piercings and I was like, "Ergh, kids." (ABG banget!!!) Blah. So I left the place. ^^;;
LOL. I sound so arrogant but trust me when you're 21 and then you have people several years your junior behaving like that near you, when you're concentrating on trying to read something in a language that isn't written in Latin alphabets, you just want to yell at them. ^^;; Mas Lili, who happened to be there as well, turned to me and tried to hide his exasperation when those two boys came. Hahaha... what a scene.

I need to take a shower, plan my outfit for tomorrow, write some angst-y fiction, watch GET BACKERS, read Wink Up and then go to bed. So it's a ciao ciao from me.

They say if you start the day beautifully, the rest of the day will be just lovely. And I do think this saying applies to me today. I'm very grateful.

But first let me talk about last night's SHOKURA.

Omigoooooooood....... JUNNO IS BACK!!! ^_^ Isn't he just looovely?! I am so, so happy to see him again. I had tears in my eyes when I saw him coming on to the stage with the boys. And then they announced him last... I was screaming like mad in my living room. My parents thought I had lost my mind. I said, "No, no, no! You don't understand... JUNNO IS BACK!!!" *glad* I feel so relieved that I've seen him now.
He's still milky white. His hair is straight. His cheeks are chubbier. He doesn't look so skinny anymore. He's as tall as ever. His voice doesn't change.
I do regret that he didn't perform LE CIEL, though, but ergh, oh well.
And he was standing near Jin (or Jin was standing near him) all the time. Meeow. ^-^ Isn't that lovely?! I think Jin could be my rival. I do think he loves Junno as much as I do right now. :P LOL. But I didn't pay so much attention to Jin anymore now that Junno's back. Huehehe... sorry, Jin. JUNNO IS MY MAN!

And today there was another treat: Dan, Rupert and Emma. Yes, I watched HARRY POTTER & THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN.
*fangirl mode ON*
First comment's first: my goodness gracious, OLIVER & JAMES PHELPS, PLEASE GO OUT ON A DATE WITH ME!!! --> Weasly Hotties. They. Are. So. My. Type. *faint* Lanky, long haired, long legs, pointy face, vintage style... oh dear, Dan was practically non-existent in my eyes when they appeared. They are so f***ing gorgeous.

I might as well start with the points I didn't like from the film first. They are:
- Setting seems inconsistent with the first two films. I know there's supposed to be a change in style now that the director's different but I somehow wish that the setting could have been the same. Also, now everything looks more cluttered and I do think I prefer the neat "studio-looking" set that appeared in the first two films. Just a personal opinion. :P
- No Quidditch Cup scene! >_< If this were LORD OF THE RINGS, I would demand the producers and director to include the Quidditch Cup part in the film. My sister was disappointed for not seeing Sean Biggerstaff as Oliver Wood because of this and I was also disappointed for not seeing him. Not that I'm a Sean fangirl or anything but I really do think Wood as a character deserves the highlight in the Quidditch Cup scene.
- Not enough Emma Thompson, just like there wasn't enough Kenneth Branagh. @_@ I wonder why the filmmakers keep torturing me by casting my favorite actors/actresses and not giving them enough screen-time! Blah!

Basically the film is better than the first two. It's refreshing, and very suitable for the development of the characters of the story, especially with their age and all. Bravo, Alfonso. He has a very witty sense of humor and this film is it. I like the darkness and the maturity of the picture he created but I do understand if he wouldn't want to continue to make the fourth. It would be nice to have a different director's vision for the next film.
I just have to talk about my most favorite scene in the film. That is, the part where Buckbeak the Hippogriff took Harry for a flying ride, particularly when they were above the lake and Harry stretched out his hand and yelled in ecstasy. The visuals were awesome. I know some of it must be highly computer generated but hell, that was one very brilliant scene! Applause once again for Alfonso!
Another thing that I really, really like and feel obliged to mention is the music and sounds. The music, in particular, is a very good improvement. I loved the music that was playing for Professor Lupin when the class had to tackle Boggart (oh and Alan Rickman in a skirt is a CLASSIC!). In whole, the music sounds more eerie, haunting and, once again, mature. Very appropriate for the character development in this third instalment.
It's a 9 out of 10!!!

I didn't realize I was badly in lovesick mode until I woke up this morning. You see, I haven't been sleeping well these past few days despite the fact that I worked myself to near exhaustion and tried to calm myself down by (sneakily) taking a day off from work. Every single night in the past two weeks, I've been tossing and turning in my bed and it seemed like I was going to get yet another bout of insomnia. Other than that, I also lost my appetite and even though I dreamt of eating delicious food, every time I got the food I never ate them. Plus, my feet have been itching a lot and I keep having to scratch them. I've told my mom about this and she did indicate that I was disturbed about something that caused me all these "little physical and psychological inconveniences" but I just couldn't figure out what until this morning.

And it turned out to be that my problem was... JUNNOSUKE TAGUCHI.
Okay, go ahead and laugh at me. It sounds so trivial that that boy could make me not sleep, eat and keep scratching my feet. But it's true.
This mroning I woke up and realized that:
1. I haven't seen him moving in a few months
2. I haven't heard him sing/talk in months
3. I haven't got my Wink Up, in which he always appears gorgeous
4. I haven't been talking about him with anyone except my stuffed animals (i.e. pouring my guts out about how I love, adore and worship him to death)
YES, THIS IS TRUE. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH THAT ALL OF THE ABOVE COULD VERY WELL MAKE ME NOT EAT, SLEEP AND KEEP SCRATCHING MY FEET!!! THAT JUNNOSUKE TAGUCHI COULD DO THAT TO ME, YES!!!
I MISS HIM SO, SO MUCH.

Pssssst... to be honest, I have been blogging about Junno in secret. ^^;;; I created a private, personal space where I write about Junno. But it's just not the same as writing about him out in the open. It's so much better if I could just let everybody know how I feel about him and such. So I guess I'm going to start ditching that private Junno journal and return to my original habitat which is the junnosuke-taguchi.com.

Anyways, to make myself feel better, and also to take a break from that flagship bookstore where I work in, I went to Plaza Indonesia today and visited Kino. I intended to hassle Istoyo into getting my magazines until he gives it to me but I didn't have the heart. Istoyo was busy and I didn't want to bother him. BUT!!!! Luckily Mbak Yayuk came to my rescue and she said, "Hey! Mas Aji (i.e. the lazy IT guy @_@) just came by and he gave me the data to print barcode! Let's work on it!" I tagged along Mbak Yayuk to print out the barcode and then together we worked on pricing those air shipment magazines. ^_^ The first carton we opened was C/N. 03 (carton no. 3) which contained my WU, Potato and Duet! ^-^

When Mbak Yayuk pulled out the magazines, I squealed and went crazy about it until she, Istoyo and this other guy (Eka? @_@ I forgot his name) stared at me as if I were crazy! Well, I didn't friggin' care! I just wanted to see Junno! And much to my surprise, KAT-TUN was on the cover of WU and the first face I saw was his and I was like, "UWAAAAA! ^_^ JUNNO, MISS YOU! MUACH, MUACH!" I literally smacked my lips against the magazine's glossy cover, all dignity forgotten, and Mbak Yayuk was saying, "OK, I don't think her boss knows about this..." Hehehe... *blush*

After getting a dose of Junno, I felt spirited again. I felt like I could work. So I offered my help to Mbak Yayuk, also as a way to thank her for being so willing to get me my magazines, to price the magazines. So today I learned about how to price and differentiate between those magazines that are customer orders and those that are for display. ^o^ It doesn't seem so difficult but it could be a problem if there are more books than barcodes, or the other way around. @_@ Anyway. Istoyo kept telling me, "Amanda, leave it. You don't have to worry about these magazines. This is your day off." But I was so excited I wanted to work! ^-^ So I did. Amazing, the power of Junno. Mwahahahahaha..... After we were done, we ate the fruits Emil brought us and I felt even more refreshed! Then Reni came in and she caught me staring at Junno once again and teased me about it. Mbak Yayuk said Junno looked so girlie, but who cares?! ^-^ Hee hee... I LOVE HIM ANYWAY! I even showed to Reni and Mbak Yayuk the pic of Junno that I always carry on my wallet. (Yes, I carry two pics of Junno in my wallet. ^^;;;)

I came home at four o'clock in the afternoon, feeling much, much better than I ever did in the past few weeks. Then I checked the schedule and it says that Shokura should be on tonight at 20:05, WIB. So I'm praying that they won't change it to anything because I want to see Junno. ^_^ I think after Shokura, I'm going to go to my room, sit in front of my computer/laptop, and make a Junno layout. I WANT TO HAVE JUNNO AGAIN ON MY NEXT LAYOUT! JUNNOOOOOO!!!! FOREVER JUNNO!!!!!!! (I sound sooooo weird, but who cares?! AS LONG AS I LOVE JUNNO! ^-^)

P.S. The only thing that could interrupt my Junno obsession but help destroy the last vestiges of my lovesickness for Junno is the fact that tomorrow morning I'm going to the Indonesian premiere of HARRY POTTER & THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN. Can't wait to see those hot kids. But I still love Junno more. >.<
