>> sneaky, sneaky <<
I did something really sneaky today. ^^ Hohoho. And thanks to my sneakiness, I don't have to go to the office tomorrow. LOL! XD Go figure.
Guess who I met today at the store?!
FELI!
Feli is in Jakarta and she didn't tell me and today I saw her at the store! I was, like, I stopped dead on my tracks when I saw her. Actually I was directing her sister to the Japanese magazine section, and then she showed up and she thought I didn't recognize her or forgot her. HOW COULD I?! ^^;;;; I was utterly, completely shocked! Hahaha... FELIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII! WHY DID YOU NOT TELL ME YOU WERE COMING TO JAKARTA!!!!!!!! Hidoi yo....... >.< But anyway she as equally surprised to see me there, wearing a Kino name tag... LOL! And she said, "Didn't you say you worked at an office somewhere?!" And I said, "Yes, my office *is* Kinokuniya!" XD Hahaha... so crazy!!! So yeah, I got her summer holiday plans and it turns out that although she's going to go home to Palembang this week's Sunday, she will come back again to Jakarta a few more times in the course of the summer period to do many things. LOL. Shiru, Fara, Jane, MUBESU GATHERING DOOOONG! KANGEEEEEN!!! ^_______^
Oh and, I almost forgot to say: there seems to be no need for y'all to check out my LJ because here I am, managing to write in this bloggie. ^o^ Guess yesterday ED.net was just having some server errors. @_@
I am creating a new wishlist:
- WOMEN'S SECRET panties (bought four already y'day; I WANT MORE!)
- WOMEN'S SECRET pajamas
- A pair of new sunglasses
- A Coccinelle bag
- An Elle watch
- A pair of pink MARIE CLAIRE shoes
- LOTR ROTK DVD (T____T)
*sigh* There's nothing really special that happened to me in the past few days. I'm still waiting for my July WU, Potato and Duet to come. I want to see WU! >.< ... the last thing I bought was Weiss Kreuz: An Assassin and White Shaman, the artbook, plus a couple of stationery items (letterset and cell phone strap). Now I want the FRUITS BASKET artbook, as well as Roald Dahl's TREASURY. Mwah. I reserved a couple of Tolkien books already as well as two mangas by Erica Sakurazawa, which has a girlxgirl love story. Hope I can buy them soon. Hiks.
I guess this is all from me for now. I have no more interesting stories. Tag me if you need me. If not, well... tag me anyway. LOL.

>> frenzy <<
Wow. I'm alive. That's a surprise. ^^;;;;;;;
It's been a week of madness and, except for the Tsubanamae BC anniversary, I'm glad to forget almost everything about it. From my point of view, it could have just been an endless week of working overtime and getting told to run around here and there to please the superior and principals. At least now I can breathe normally.
KINOKUNIYA JAKARTA STORE OFFICIAL OPENING. 5 June 2004. If Kino Taka in SG is called SIMS, does that mean our store here is called JAMS? XD Bwahahahaha. Anyway. So yeah, it's official. Please shop for books, magazines and stationeries in Kino JAMS. There's a 10%-discount-for-next-purchase by voucher for opening promotions and we (seem to) carry more titles than other bookstores in Jakarta.
I didn't follow the ceremony yesterday but I do know that it was crowded and we had a lot of transactions. My eyes almost popped out literally when I heard the daily sales record by 9 p.m., reported by HS-senpai on the phone. So that was good. We had our own internal 'ceremonial celebration' in the morning with all members of the staff joining us for prayers and thanksgiving, which was the reason why I couldn't come in late yesterday despite the fact that I'm supposed to be OFF DUTY. My boss was saying, "Thanks for all your efforts. We've been doing great in our first week but we still have a very long, long way to go." *sigh* He's said it. A LONG, LONG WAY TO GO. LOL.
Etou, actually, for those of you who didn't manage to make it on the grand opening day, you should be feeling thankful. Why? BECAUSE THE STORE WAS DAMN CROWDED YESTERDAY NOBODY COULD BREATHE! ^^;;;; Hahaha. There were loooooooooooong queue lines and everybody just seemed to be wandering here and there as if they were lost in space (which was understandable because the store is stupendously big). Of course, you're missing one or two perks, such as seeing that magician guy (whatsisname? Dedi Corsomething?) walking all over the store (which scared some little kids who went hiding behind the English-translated manga shelves XD) and getting a free Starbucks drink samples. Oh and... missed the taiko and Soran dance! (YEP!!! THERE WAS A SORAN DANCE YESTERDAY! AHH, MISS THE MATSURI! ^__^) But other than that, you might want to relish the fact that you didn't have to bump on people every step of your way... ^^;;;
Ahhh, yes, speaking of the Soran... MET SOME PEOPLE FROM LAST YEAR'S MIKOSHI MATSURI! Sakai-saaaaaaaan.... Ohisashiburi deshita! ^-^ So good to see him again. He hasn't changed!!! He saw me and asked me about working in Kinokuniya and then he invited me to go to this mikoshi exhibition next week in Hotel Nikko. Zettai iku yo, Sakai-san!!! (I'm hoping to see Oguri-san again... hee hee...)
Then I also saw Tsugawa-san from OCS. That super sexy man... *drool* My colleagues Vira and Inge were also like, "Kyaaaaaaa!!!" when they saw him! Yappari, that man is so, so handsome. *hearts* I purposefully tried to make myself busy in the JB section because that was where he and his OCS colleagues were standing to give out free Japanese newspapers (Asahi Shimbun, etc.; I think we're going to start importing Japanese newspapers via OCS) but I was so busy in the CS counter and comic/manga/graphic novels section that I never managed to stay long there. Argh. I love you, Tsugawa-san... *hiks*
And as if I'm not sick and tired of everything already, I'm planning to go to the store today... AGAIN! XD But no, this time I'm not working. I'm going to be a customer and I'm going to wear very casual clothes that may cause my colleagues to drop their jaws. ^-^ Fufufu.
To end the day last night, I received some surprising phone calls. First it was Mas Hengky. Didn't expect him to call. ^^;;;;; Only a few minutes afterwards, Kar-kun called. *hearts* I wasn't Cho-ureshii! Then... just one hour after, when I was watching DVD to get my mind off things, I got a call from Bryan! Mad. I thought Kar-kun was already mad for calling me from Jambi but Bryan is even madder. He called me from Naples! (Damn him, I so envy him.) The only thing in common in my conversations with all three of the guys who called me was: how I hated the day and told them about all the problems I've had for one whole day long. Duh. :P But then after their calls, I was like, "Hey, why aren't my girl friends calling me?!" ^^;;;
Then I fell asleep while watching AMELIE.
P.S. TSUBANAMAE BC, really sorry if I didn't tag and leave messages for every BC member... but I couldn't go to some of your blogs/journals, due to bad connection and lack of time, but once again, VIVA BC & TSUBASA!

>> tsubanamae bc, otanjoubi omedetou! <<
HAPPY 1ST ANNIVERSARY, TSUBANAMAE BC!
Today's the Tsubanamae Blog Crew 1st year anniversary. The blog crew was established one year ago with only three members. Then we had the fourth, and then the fifth, the sixth, the seventh... one year later we have sixteen members! ^_^ SIXTEEN! Isn't it freaking wonderful?! And do you know how it all started? It was because I made a Yahoo! ID called tsubami18 and then Yona, the one later known as Tsubalicious, said that it would be great if we all came up with a Tsubanamae! Et voila, the Blog Crew was born!
The best think about being in the Tsubanamae BC is that we're in a blog crew that is full of purpose. Our purpose is? Well, I think we live to love Tsubasa and his partnership with Takki. I don't remember all the events that happened, but I do know that wherever we are we worship Tsubasa.
I know there are lots and lots of blog crews around and we're not the only 'special-purpose' blog crew... LOL... but I do believe we've managed to make a difference somehow. At least we managed to make a statement. Proof? People actually noticed our names, right from the beginning. One time, I remember, in one of the forums that we hang out in, somebody was actually freaked out by "an invasion of Tsubasa fans" in the thread that we were discussing. Yes, we are openly in love with Tsuba and that's why we all use Tsuba's name and we're proud of it.
I think I'm supposed to send out messages to each and every one of the BC members but I don't want to get overly sentimental. But I'll just mention some of the memorable moments that I remember that happened between us in our BC life. I don't know how accurate my memory is or if the other members still recall the events but here goes:
- I really, really can't forget the day Tsubalicious said that it would be great if we all had a Tsubanamae. Then she started using the alias Tsubalicious, which came up because she wanted to lick Tsubasa, and the BC was suddenly there. Bwahahaha. Then Tsubaholic once wrote a blog entry (or several, even) in which she listed all the possible Tsubanamae. LOL! I used to have such a great time looking at those names and be amazed at all those names that she created. So creative. I think our next few members were quite inspired by them. If not, at least the entry(ies) was funny. The process of finding the right Tsubanamae for you is always fun.
- Gatherings!!! MY FAVORITE THING EVER! ^-^ Lovely to have fellow Jakarta residents in the BC like Tsubasatile, Tsubasaikou and Tsubasailor! Our first BC gathering was to celebrate Tsuba's birthday, 18 October 2003. :D Looooooooved it! We talked, drooled, joked... and were more passionate about the TxT Calendar I brought than the pizza that we ordered to eat.Fufufu. ^-^ Then a few months afterwards I met Tsuductive and Tsumomo.... in their home country! Sugoi. XD I was waiting for Tsuductive to come when there was this girl in red who stayed there as well. Thought she might be Tsumomo and... YES IT WAS! XD So two BC members in the same place who wouldn't have realized that we were tsubAMI and Tsumomo if Tsuductive hadn't told us that we were both already there while she wasn't! Waaaah, love gatherings. Can't wait for my Asian region gathering (hehe), American gathering, Canadian gathering and of course... London rendezvous with Tsubabuns (matte yo, Buns, I'm going to go there one day, probably live there and we're going to Tsubafy your city! XD) And other BC members have also had gatherings as well. Going to cons together in Japan... how lucky is that. *envy*
- Of course it's not always a happy, happy story in the BC. -_-;;; I think trouble ran into us at times. Fighting is never nice. Oh wait, I don't mean we fight amongst ourselves - BC members generally have good level of communications between themselves - but sometimes other people outside the BC just really object to our presence. ^^;;; I don't know if I want to talk about it but I just want everyone to know that it's always sugar, spice and everything nice in the BC. I hope we'll be peaceful from now on.
- The establishment of Tsubanamae Private Forum, Tsubanamae Server and Tsubanamae Official Website. I think it's very, very cool that we have all these things. We're like a club or something. LOL. I don't know if I'm allowed to mention which ones of us have servers that contain delectable files, but you guys kno who you are so thank you very much for your generosity and effort. (Too bad now I can't watch multimedia files anymore. Hiks, hiks, hiks...)
I could go on and on and on... but I won't bore everyone out with these stories. Sorry for not writing those personal messages but really, what else can I say other than: guys, love ya so much, thanks for joining the BC! Let's continue our madness and may the BC lasts a long time! Hurrah!

Plug: Japanese Web Star Spreads Blogging Gospel
Found that on Yahoo! News. It's about a Japanese blogger. Cool article. Check out his blog too (link can be found on the article's page). Splendid.
I can't believe my boss told me to come in to work tomorrow. It's public holiday! I seriously think my parents and senior's words are beginning to be true: they've warned me about my boss' dependency for me! >.< In a way, I think it's good that he is trusting me enough to help him even when we're both supposed to be on our day off, but still, I would like to have a proper day off where I don't have to bother about work. OK, I understand that this is all for the store's grand opening (big event, that is) but actually, I don't know why the things he said he wanted me to do tomorrow can't wait until Friday. @_@ Yappari, addiction... dependency... taihen desu.
DIOR ADDICT smells really weird at first but after staying 12 hours on my body and my outfit it starts to smell nice, particularly on the 5th hour. This is one of my dad's omiyage from the US. He prefers buying my sister and me perfumes and everything else but chocolate or food. Unless we beg him by kneeling down and crying. ^^;;; I don't know why it's so hard to get him to buy us food from elsewhere. But I swear if he goes to Italy, I'd make him buy tortellini and instant gnocchi. XD
I still need to write some reviews. Yes, I'm still keen on doing them although it's been quite a while since the CD release. I don't know who's going to read it either but I'm just going to write 'em. Urgh. I wish I had more time in my hands. How about if one day is made up of 28 hours? Two extra hours would probably be good. Hahaha. Or perhaps I could get something like Hermione's Time-Turner (Book 3: Prisoner of Azkaban). Of course, playing with Time is a very dangerous thing... still, I'd like to have more time to do everything that I want.
I think I can't stand to open my eyes any longer. I need to get some rest. At least, I need to soak my feet on hot water. And I need sleep. I need Junno. I need to *bleep* Junno. XD I need ... Junno on hot water. XD Bwahahaha.... JUNNOOOOOOOOO!!! MISS YOU SO MUCH, BABY!!!

Sou. Atarashii layout desu. ^^ Tackey & Tsubasa de, yoroshiku onegaishimasu!
Just need to mention that this layout was heavily inspired by Alex Britti's LA VASCA album, design-wise. I was looking at it last week and thought that the combination of yellow, black and white would look cool. Luckily I found a Tackey & Tsubasa pic on WU May '04 that was just perfect for the layout! Of course, you can see traces of the previous layout in this one, like the columns and the use of dashed borders, etc. But that was intentional because I am in the mood to make something like this. Hehehe.
The reason for choosing Tackey & Tsubasa as a model is also deliberate because:
1. I haven't used them in a layout for a very long time.
2. 4 June is Tsubanamae BC's anniversary and I want to use something that is TxT-related.
3. I am loving 2WENTY 2WO, the album.
So yeah. I think this one is slightly better than the last layout. At least I personally think so. LOL.
In any case, BENVENUTO L'ESTATE!
